The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Disinfecting playground equipment before and after each use
  • Hiring of a full-time cleaning person during the day, cleaning of all classrooms twice daily (when children are on the playground)
  • Social distancing children during meal times and nap time
  • True HEPA Filter Air Purifiers with UV Light Sanitizer which eliminates 99.97% of Germs, Virus, and filters Allergies, Pets, Pollen, Dust, Mold, Odors from our classrooms and school
  • Halo Global Disinfecting Fogging system is being used regularly in the evening
  • Wearing of masks by all over the age of two (other than while eating, playing outside or napping)
  • Professional cleaning of the entire school every evening
