Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Kindergarten Lead Teacher

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years, and together we have two amazing children, Hannah Cheyenne and Heath Clayton. We are excited to welcome our first grandchild and begin our new adventure as “Honey” and “Grandaddy.”
I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1998 and earned my teaching certification in 2003. I spent 14 years teaching kindergarten and first grade in the Paulding County School System before joining Primrose four years ago as an Assistant Director. Six months later, I returned to the classroom to teach kindergarten—a role that reminded me how much I love working with young learners.
One of my greatest joys is watching our students grow, building relationships with their families, and helping children develop a love for learning. Primrose truly feels like family, and I am grateful to be part of such a caring community.

My name is Ramya Durai, and I have five years of experience as a professional software engineer. During my time in India, I also worked with government school educators, supporting students in STEM-based projects and ensuring that educational project requirements were completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards as a project coordinator assistant.
After moving to the United States, I worked as an assistant teacher at Foundations for the Future. I enjoy combining my professional industry experience with my passion for teaching to make complex concepts engaging, accessible, and meaningful for students.

Hi, I’m Camille!
I am 19 years old and have been working with children for the past five years. I love watching college football—especially cheering on both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers! My favorite colors are pink and blue, and you’ll usually find me with an energy drink to help keep up with all the fun and excitement of the day.
I am passionate about creating a positive, caring, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. I can’t wait to get to know all of my students and their families and make this an amazing year together!

Our family would love to meet yours.
