The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and areas
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Temperature checks performed on all staff, children, and families upon arrival
  • External drop-off and pick-up
  • Wall hand sanitizing units installed which dispense 80% alcohol based hand sanitizer for adult use only
  • Plexiglas barriers installed at front desk and in office
  • Upgraded HVAC air purifier system which underwent COVID-19 testing
  • Health assessments completed by all staff, vendors, and essential visitors who enter the building
  • Masks are required to be worn at all times
  • Victory Electrostatic Sprayers utilized daily in classrooms, throughout the building, on the buses, and on playgrounds
  • Adjusted playground schedules to decrease the number of children and staff present at once, along with scheduled time between classrooms to sanitize playground equipment
  • Signage placed throughout the building to keep masks, social distancing, and signs of illness top of mind
  • Blankets and security items brought from home are required to remain in the building and laundered by staff
  • Temporary removal of all sensory bins
  • After hours cleaning performed by contracted cleaning service
  • Reduced hours of operation to provide ample amount of time for cleaning and sanitizing
