Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Abbie
Hello! My name is Ms. Abbie. I have been part of the Primrose community for several years and have contributed my skills across a variety of classrooms and roles. I currently serve as our Pre-Kindergarten teacher and the training teacher for the Venture Program. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, along with my CDA certification.
My favorite part of teaching is building meaningful one-on-one connections with each child and their family. One of the highlights of my day is Og’s Storytime, where I can share my love of books and foster a passion for reading in my classroom.

I love watching my students grow emotionally, physically, and academically, and I believe Primrose provides an exceptional environment where children truly blossom.

I especially enjoy reading stories with my class and exploring nature outdoors, and I love being part of the Primrose team because it truly feels like a second family.

Hello! My name is Ms. Mercedez. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation with a concentration in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. I’ve worked in childcare for 15+ years with children ages two through school age, and I am currently a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Primrose School of Arlington

Ms. Monica brings over five years of experience in early childhood education and a passion for working with young children. She enjoys watching children blossom, supporting their development, and getting to know each of their unique personalities.
At Primrose of Arlington, Ms. Monica is dedicated to creating a warm and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys hosting family and friends, baking, and exploring new restaurants—she’s a big foodie!
Ms. Monica looks forward to getting to know each child and family and building meaningful connections throughout the year.
