Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff
Mrs. Cheryl
Mrs. Cheryl is from Fort Wayne, IN and has her Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Cheryl has years of experience in early childhood from in-home childcare, to a co-op preschool, and having children of her own. In her free time, she enjoys snow-skiing, horseback riding, and being outdoors. We are so excited to have Mrs. Cheryl on our Primrose team!
Ms. Mariam
Mrs. Mariam is from Karachi, Pakistan, has her Bachelor’s Degree, and has over 12 years of experience working with young children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, swimming, reading, and calligraphy. Mrs. Mariam is a wonderful educator and works with each child individually to make sure they understand what they are learning in the classroom. We absolutely love having Mrs. Mariam here at Primrose!
Mrs. Spandana
Mrs. Spandana is from India and has her Master’s Degree in Power Electronics. In her free time she enjoys arts and crafts, cooking and trying new recipes, reading, and being outdoors. Mrs. Spandana loves educating all the children in the school and running teacher led centers. Mrs. Spandana has been a wonderful addition to our Primrose family!
