Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

I have been part of the Primrose Schools family for 12 years, serving in a variety of roles throughout my career. I am excited to be back with my favorite age group—infants! love to create a warm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn and grow each day. especially enjoy reading with the children, singing songs, and celebrating all of the little milestones that make infancy such a special stage.

My favorite Primrose Friend is Og because he helps spark a lifelong love of reading, learning, and curiosity. I love sharing Og’s Storytime with my children each day, exploring new books together while encouraging kindness, sharing, and a love of discovering new things. Building strong relationships with children and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, camping, and playing with my two dachshunds. I look forward to caring for, laughing with, and learning alongside each new baby and family I welcome into the Infant Room.

Hello! My name is Wanda, and I was born and raised right here in Cincinnati, OH. I’m a proud single mom of two wonderful daughters who keep me inspired every day. In my free time, I love exploring new restaurants and trying different dishes. I’m also a big fan of live music—any genre—as long as it’s loud and lively! My favorite season is fall, not only because of the beautiful weather, but also because it always arrives around my birthday on September 22. I’m excited to be part of your child’s learning journey and can’t wait to meet you and your family!

I’ve been working with children since 2014 and attended Butler Tech for Early Childhood Education. I joined the Primrose team in 2024, and I absolutely love helping my students’ personalities shine, guiding them to become problem solvers, and making learning fun and exciting for them.

In my free time, I enjoy bargain shopping at Dollar Tree, and I have an interesting hobby—I’ve been to Korea 12 times! It’s one of my favorite places to visit.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your family and being part of your child’s learning journey!
