<div><strong>Job Responsibilities:<br />
</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a positive relationship with parents, children, and co-workers</li>
<li>Support the lead teacher in maintaining a positive, appropriately-structured environment while adhering to the provided classroom schedule</li>
<li>Support the lead teacher in implementing the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming</li>
<li>Help to maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create and explore</li>
<li>Attend all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions, ensuring that training requirements are met or exceeded</li>
<li>Observe all rules and regulations of the Primrose School at Twin Hickory and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Requirements:<br />
</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Ability to relate positively to young children</li>
<li>Previous teaching experience in a public or private school, preschool or childcare center is preferred but we are willing to train the right person</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Skills in time management with the ability to organize environment and prioritize work</li>
<li>Two year degree in early childhood or related field is preferred but we are willing to train the right person</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>
