Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff
Ms. Chellii
Ms. Chellii is from Alameda, California. She has been with Primrose for 16 years but has been working with children for over 25 years. She has her BS in Education. Ms. Chellii has two children who she loves spending her free time with. When she isn’t attending a soccer game for her daughter, she loves to get lost in a book. Fun fact about Ms. Chellii is that she went to school for fashion. This school year, Ms. Chellii is most excited about getting new kids in her class!
Ms. Makenzie
Ms. Makenzie has been with us for almost two years. She loves to watch the babies transition to young toddler and all the milestones they hit a long the way. She loves to spend time with her boyfriend and family. She is a great worker, and has 2 years of experience with children.
Mrs. Suzanne
We are so excited to welcome back our experienced Ms. Suzanne as our lead infant teacher! She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a genuine passion for nurturing and educating our youngest learners.
She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and is dedicated to creating a loving, safe, and engaging environment where infants can grow, explore, and reach important developmental milestones.
Outside of the classroom, she has recently celebrated a wonderful milestone by getting married! We are thrilled to have her back as she begins this exciting new chapter in her personal and professional life.
We are so happy to welcome her back to our school family and look forward to all the love, experience, and dedication she will bring to our infant classroom!
