I am Mike Patel, the proud owner of Primrose School at The Parks DC. My wife, Malina, and I are blessed with two wonderful children. As parents and experienced business owners, we understand the importance of the high-quality educational childcare that Primrose schools provides and we are thrilled to bring the Primrose Experience to the families of our nation’s Capital.
After researching many schools for our childrren, we were fortunate to come across the opportunity to learn about the unmatched curriculum, teaching methods, and passion for education that Primrose schools delivers. We quickly became avid supporters and felt compelled to bring the Primrose Experience to our area.
Education shapes who we are and what we aspire to be. We recognize that quality early childhood education and care with an emphasis on character development nurtures the foundation for one's future academic and personal successes. We believe we can help forge the path for a brighter future, and are devoted to making a difference for the children of America, starting with the community of The Parks DC. We are minutes away from Tacoma Park, Downtown Silver Spring, and District of Columbia suburbs.
Primrose School at The Parks DC is located at 6800 Georgia Ave. NW Washington D.C., 20012. For more information, visit www.PrimroseParksDC.com.
We are conveniently located on Georgia Ave NW, right down the road from Takoma Elementary School and five minutes from Whittier Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Washington DC, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.

At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Practicing kindness in and outside of the classroom will help children's character development. Learn more about nurturing compassion in this parent resource.
So much fun at our Annual Egg Hunt! Thank you to all of our families for attending and sharing this moment with us!
Each February, students at Primrose schools across the country collect their favorite books to donate to local libraries, hospitals, schools and nonprofit organizations.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Ready to get some structure back into your child’s life?
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
Happy International Women's Day!!!
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
