Franchise Owner
Tanisha Turner
Ms. Turner has owned and operated Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway since they first opened their doors in 2003. She has been in education since 1986 and continues to love what she does! She can be “caught” loving on and playing with children (or teachers and parents) in classrooms at any given moment. She has taught all areas and age levels, but has a special place in her teaching heart for math and science. She has Bachelor’s Degrees in Education and Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Turner is very active in her church and she and her husband lead the church’s marriage ministry called Married.4.Life. She is also a certified Yoga Instructor. Ms. Turner is also a former Primrose Parent and proud Mom to three awesome young men who were all Primrose students. Ms. Turner considers herself to be a lifetime learner and encourages everyone to do the same. She loves giving “homework” to parents and teachers of our school, so beware! She likes everyone to be in “think and create mode”. She loves to listen to all types of music, visit museums and practice yoga. She is an avid reader and loves a great “book talk”. She loves to travel, try new foods, experience different cultures and has been all over the world enjoying meeting people from different walks of life. She is a proud graduate of the class of 2007 and active alumni of Leadership Gwinnett, through the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and loves to talk “Delta” with the Sisters who have their children in our school. One of the many favorite quotes she has (and she has many) is “It’s not the duration of your life, but the donation of it. Not how long you lived, but how you lived.”(From the Purpose Driven Life). Another favorite quote is “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say “I have used everything You gave me”.
