Franchise Owners

Jamie and Vince Ovlia

I am Jamie Ovlia, proud Franchise Owner of Primrose School of St. Charles at Heritage. Since opening our doors in 2018, it has been an incredible privilege to serve families in St. Charles and St. Peters with the high quality education and care that Primrose Schools is known for.

When we opened the school, our twins were just 13 months old and our oldest daughter was three and a half. All three of our children graduated from both Pre K and Kindergarten at Primrose. Today, we see firsthand the strong academic foundation and genuine love of learning that began here. What started as a school we opened for our own children has grown into something far greater for our family. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to impact hundreds of children and families, and that responsibility is something we never take lightly.

From our experience as parents, my husband Vince and I understand how important it is to find a school that feels like a true partner. Families entrust us with their most precious gift. Our commitment is to provide something that cannot be recreated at home: a home away from home where children are nurtured, challenged, and truly known while their parents are hard at work.

My background is in medicine, with a bachelor’s degree in health science from Truman State University and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University. A career grounded in health and safety has shaped the way I lead our school, with intentional systems, high standards, and deep care for children, families, and staff.

Equally important to me is creating an exceptional workplace for our teachers. In a time when many educators are leaving the field, we are intentional about building a culture where teachers feel supported, valued, and proud of their profession. When teachers love where they work, children thrive. Strong relationships with families, consistent routines, and a stable team are at the heart of the Primrose experience we strive to deliver every day.

We are proud of the impact our school has made and continues to make, and we look forward to welcoming many more families into our Primrose community.

Our family would love to meet yours.
