Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
The Rolfsen family welcomes you to the Primrose School of Southwest Austin.
Chris Rolfsen comes from a 15 year career with Motorola/Freescale and Shannan Rolfsen joins the school from a 12 year career with non-profits including Make-A-Wish and the American Cancer Society.
After having their son, Callen, Chris and Shannan were so impressed by the quality of education delivered by Primrose, they purchased the Primrose School of Round Rock.
The Rolfsen's are dedicated to “Forging a Path That Leads to a Brighter Future for All Children.”
The school features the exclusive Balanced Learning® program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Developed by and taught exclusively at Primrose Schools, Balanced Learning blends teacher-directed and child-initiated activities with a special emphasis on character development in the schools.
We are conveniently located on Davis Lane, minutes down the street from Dick Nichols District Park and Boone Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Austin, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.
Infant, Toddler, Early preschool, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, After school
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Reading with your child in the first five years helps develop early literacy skills and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime! Learn how to aid in your child's literacy journey.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
