As the Director of Primrose School of South Baton Rouge, I’m proud to bring over 10 years of experience in education and a deep passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive! I hold an MBA and enjoy blending my business background with my love for early childhood education to create a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for our students, families, and staff.

My journey with Primrose has been filled with laughter, learning, and countless proud moments watching children discover the world around them. As a proud mom of two wonderful children, I understand how meaningful these early years are — truly the beginning of something big!

When I’m not at school, you can find me spending time with my family or relaxing with a good book. Every day at Primrose is an opportunity to inspire, support, and celebrate our amazing community!

Hello! My name is Shynicer Perry, and I am an Older Infant Teacher at Primrose. I am passionate about supporting young children during one of the most important stages of their development. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants feel comfortable exploring, learning, and growing each day.

Working with older infants is especially rewarding, as I get to witness important milestones such as crawling, communicating, and discovering the world around them. I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and individualized attention as they develop their unique personalities.

My goal each day is to ensure that every child in my care feels safe, loved, and supported. I am committed to building strong, positive relationships with both children and their families.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and continuing to grow in my faith. I bring that same positivity, care, and dedication into the classroom every day.

Infant Teacher

Hello! My name is Arianna Brown, and I am a full-time student at Louisiana State University studying Early Childhood Education. My goal is to one day own my own daycare and create a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. I have always had a big heart for kids, especially because I am the oldest child and grandchild in a large family, so I have spent a lot of time helping watch over and care for younger children.

Being a bitty ball coach also made me even more passionate about working with kids. I loved encouraging them, helping them build confidence, and watching their personalities shine as they learned new things.

Those experiences showed me that working with children is something that truly comes naturally to me, and it is a big part of why I care so much about making a positive impact on their lives.

Outside of school, I enjoy basketball, watching movies, and spending time with my friends.

Toddler Teacher

Hello! I’m proud to be a Toddler Teacher at Primrose. I’m currently in school to obtain a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. Primrose is the perfect place for me to enrich my skills. In my free time, I enjoy reading comics, journaling, and scrapbooking.

With six years of experience in childcare, I’ve never seen a school like Primrose. Their curriculum balances nurturing guidance and purposeful play to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for children. Not only does Primrose support their students, but they also support their staff by providing the tools needed for success.

I take pride in knowing my parents and students trust me. This trust is built by showing how much I truly care about my students and by being responsive. Though Primrose is new to Baton Rouge, I’m confident it will become a staple in the community very soon. I am so grateful to be here!

Roshni Patel and Viren Patel

Hello Baton Rouge! We are Roshni Patel and Viren Patel, siblings born and raised in Texas and proud graduates of The University of Texas at Austin. I am a proud resident of Louisiana for the past 16 years and am humbled to call Louisiana home! My husband and I have three amazing children so I can genuinely appreciate the need for a safe, nurturing environment parents seek for their children. My brother, Viren, still resides in Texas, he also has three beautiful children. As parents, we are in constant pursuit of ways to enrich young minds with the ultimate goal of setting them up for success.

The journey for us began when we started searching for schools for our very own young, children. We quickly realized the importance of early learning and its immense influence on young minds. As we visited different day care facilities and early learning centers, we constantly sought a perfect establishment that would be the best fit for our children.

Meanwhile in Texas, Viren contemplated as to what benefits his own children would reap from being enrolled in a Primrose School. After he visited a local Primrose School in Texas, he had nothing but positive things to say about the school’s early learning program, children’s safety and a caring, nurturing environment!

My husband and I searched for a Primrose School’s equivalent early education center; unfortunately, we were unable to find a premiere brand early education system such as a Primrose near us in Southeast Louisiana. Shortly thereafter, Viren and I learned that the market for the first Primrose School had just opened up in Louisiana. Needless to say, Viren and I were thrilled to acquire the very first franchise for a Primrose School in Louisiana.

At Primrose Schools, the Balanced Learning curriculum of purposeful play and nurturing guidance, character development along with our high standard of child care creates a solid foundation at a very early age in bright, young minds. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to offer the families of Baton Rouge this remarkable educational experience to help build a brighter future for young minds.

Our family would love to meet yours.
