Hello! My name is Danielle Nash, and I am proud to be part of the leadership team at Primrose School of Smyrna West. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Atlanta in 1993. I have one older sister and two younger sisters.

I joined Primrose School of Smyrna West in 2012, drawn to its excellent curriculum and nurturing environment. I began my journey teaching in the Early Preschool classrooms before transitioning into a leadership role. Today, you can find me welcoming families at the front office or lending a helping hand in classrooms throughout the school.

I love being part of the Primrose family. My son, Christian, is also a proud graduate of Primrose School of Smyrna West!

Hello! My name is Shantel Odom, and I am excited to serve as the Enrollment Specialist at Primrose School of Smyrna West! I have been part of the Primrose family since 2012, with 17 wonderful years of experience teaching Preschool and Pre-K. I am thrilled to bring my passion for early childhood education into this role and continue building meaningful relationships with our families.

I am originally from the Bronx, New York, but grew up right here in Smyrna, Georgia. I attended Savannah Performing Art and Design, where I studied Performance Art and Computer Science. Outside of Primrose School of Smyrna West, I love spending time being a mom to my handsome son and enjoy watching musicals and classic ’90s movies!

I am passionate about helping families feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their child’s educational journey. At Primrose School of Smyrna West, I am committed to helping provide every child with a loving, nurturing, and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. Hello! My name is Stephanie Dewberry, and I am a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia. I am blessed with two amazing daughters and one wonderful grandson. My oldest daughter followed in my footsteps and became an educator, while my youngest daughter works as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines. My grandson, Ahsun, is the heartbeat of our family and my greatest inspiration—he is my “why.”

I chose a career in education because of my deep passion for nurturing, inspiring, and shaping young minds. I had the opportunity to teach Pre-K during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, an experience that further strengthened my commitment to early childhood education and reinforced the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

As the Education Coach at Primrose School of Smyrna West, I am excited to share my passion and experience by supporting, mentoring, and empowering our teachers to provide exceptional learning experiences for every child. I believe that when teachers feel encouraged, supported, and inspired, they can make an even greater impact on the children in their classrooms.

I look forward to partnering with our dedicated teachers and families to foster a positive learning environment where every child feels valued, develops confidence, and builds a lifelong love of learning.

¡HOLA! My name is Cristina Ruffus, and I am excited to be teaching Spanish here at Primrose School of Smyrna West!

I am happily married and a proud mother to my amazing children, Anna, Sofia, and Alexander. My family is the most important part of my life, and I love spending quality time with them and our friends, creating wonderful memories together.

I have a passion for teaching Spanish and especially love hearing my students begin to speak and express themselves in a new language. It brings me so much joy to see their excitement and confidence grow as they learn!

Hello, my name is Julie Rowan. I am originally from Wolverhampton, England. I am a proud mother of a beautiful daughter and love spending quality time with my family. In my down time I enjoy doing various art projects such as scrapbooking, embroidery, painting and decorating.

I have been in the childcare industry for over 25 years. I enjoy working with children and helping them grow. It is so great to see the joy in a child’s face when they succeed at their work. Being a part of that success makes teaching even more rewarding.

Hello, my name is Venecia Hester. I am originally from Marietta, Georgia, and a proud mom to my two beautiful daughters, Jozlynn and Queen.

I have been part of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family for six wonderful years, and I have truly loved every moment of my teaching journey. Teaching is my calling, and bringing joy, love, and learning into the lives of young children is what makes each day so special to me!

At Primrose School of Smyrna West, we are more than just a team of educators—we are a family! We care for every child as if they were our own, creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children feel at home, discover their unique talents, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Hello, my name is Simone Chapman.  I was born in Georgetown, Guyana, grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Georgia in 2008. I come from a big family with six siblings, have been happily married for 30 years, and am a proud mom to three wonderful sons!

In my spare time, I love going to the movies with my family—we are huge Marvel fans! I also enjoy writing stories, watching Korean shows, and gardening.

Teaching is truly one of my greatest passions! I have had the joy of teaching Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten, and nothing makes me happier than nurturing young minds and watching children learn, grow, and discover the world around them. I feel incredibly blessed to do what I love every day as part of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family.

Hello! My name is Ashley Parker, and I grew up in Douglasville, Georgia. I completed four years of Early Childhood Education studies and have been teaching for the past five years.

I am a fun, caring, and passionate educator who treats every student as if they were my own. My dream is to one day own a school and share my love for education around the world!

Hi! My name is Bria Anderson, and I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I have a passion for supporting, nurturing, and empowering children as they learn and grow.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Savannah State University. My background in social work, mental health, and education has given me valuable experience in understanding each child’s unique needs, supporting their social and emotional development, and creating a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment.

I believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I’m excited to be part of their learning journey and help them grow, build confidence, and thrive every day!

Hello! My name is Charman L. Nesby, and I am proud to be part of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family! With 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I have a deep passion for nurturing young minds, inspiring little learners, and making a positive difference in children’s lives. I also hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Infant/Toddler Care.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have been dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. I believe the early years are the foundation for lifelong learning, and I love helping children develop important social, emotional, and cognitive skills while building confidence and creativity.

For me, teaching is more than a profession—it’s a calling! Every child is unique, and I find so much joy in celebrating their individuality, encouraging their curiosity, and watching them grow and reach new milestones.

Hey y’all! My name is Sierra Lenglet, and I’ve proudly called Primrose School of Smyrna West my home away from home since 2010! I love making a positive impact on children’s lives and watching them learn and grow. Being here at Primrose Smyrna West has been the best teaching experience one could ask for.

I married my husband in November 2018, and we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Mallory, in June 2020. A lifelong Georgia resident, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors with my family—whether it’s walking, fishing, playing softball, or visiting the park.

I’m grateful to be part of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family and look forward to continuing to support our wonderful children, families, and teachers!

Hi! My name is Sarmilla Bhattacharya, and I am originally from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I have been part of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family for over 10 years.

My passion for working with children began in India, and I have always loved nurturing and caring for young learners. Watching children grow, learn, and discover new things brings me so much joy and reminds me of my own childhood.

I truly love being part of the Primrose family, and the children continue to inspire me and bring out the best in me every day!

Hi! My name is Trisha Norgard. I was born in St. Lucia and moved to New York in 2000. I have 25 years of experience working with children of all ages. As an infant teacher, I love nurturing curiosity and creating a safe, loving, and secure environment where babies feel comfortable exploring, learning, and growing.

In October 2021, I married my wonderful husband, Jeffrey, and in 2023, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Eden Grace Norgard. She is our pride and joy and currently attends Primrose School of Smyrna West!

I enjoy traveling with my family, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. My favorite season is fall! I especially look forward to apple picking with my family and enjoying all the delicious pumpkin spice flavors that come with the season.

I feel fortunate to be part of each child’s early learning journey and look forward to helping our little ones grow and thrive every day!

Hello! My name is Tyunia Rhoden, and I have been a proud member of the Primrose School of Smyrna West family for over 10 years! Originally from Dallas, Texas, I moved to Georgia 20 years ago with my husband. I have over 15 years of teaching experience and am a proud mother of six daughters and grandmother to 13 wonderful grandchildren!

I love nurturing and caring for our infants and watching them grow and reach new milestones. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, staying active in my church, listening to gospel music, and reading books about faith.
