Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

My name is Ashley Cartagena Alavarez, I am 23 years old. I’ve worked with kids for a long time and have found such a deep passion and love for them. I am excited for the opportunity to work with children to help nurture, and guide them. I am excited to get to learn the Primrose culture and to learn more about you and your child as they grow!

Hello! I’m Hailie, I’m so excited to be joining Primrose! I’m very passionate about creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where children can learn, grow, and feel encouraged every day. I’m originally from New York and have been living in Texas for the past 3 years. I’m a huge animal lover and enjoy spending time in nature!

Hello everyone, I’m Marley! I was born and raised in Mississippi and recently moved to Austin with my family. I come from a family of teachers and I look forward to continuing the tradition. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking and playing with my dog. I am so excited to start my adventure here and I look forward to meeting everyone.
