Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Ashley
My name is Ashley Cartagena Alavarez, I am 23 years old. I’ve worked with kids for a long time and have found such a deep passion and love for them. I am excited for the opportunity to work with children to help nurture, and guide them. I am excited to get to learn the Primrose culture and to learn more about you and your child as they grow!

Ms. Bianca
Hi everyone, my name is Bianca Torres, and I’m really excited to be joining this team. A little about me—I value building positive connections, learning new things, and contributing wherever I can. I’m currently passionate about gaining more experience with children and bringing my future within the nursing department, and I’m looking forward to growing alongside all of you. Outside of work, I enjoy having karaoke night with my family, which helps keep me balanced. I’ve heard great things about this group, and I can already tell it feels like a welcoming and supportive family. I’m eager to get to know each of you and to bring my energy and dedication to our team.

Ms. Meghan
Hi, my name is Meghan. I am from New York and moved to Texas in 2013. I have always loved working with children. I started my childcare career with after school care and as a special education aide. I started working for Primrose in 2021 and have loved every minute of it! My husband and I currently live in Leander with our two cats, Sokka and Katara. In our free time, we enjoy watching movies and playing games. I look forward to helping your children learn and grow!

Ms. Tamara
My name is Ms. Tamara, and I am a support teacher here at Primrose. I have been working at this school for 22 years and during that time I was a lead/co-lead teacher in many of the classes from Infants all the way to Pre-Kindergarten. I love I’ve been able to lead and inspire in a little of every classroom! It is great working in such a family-oriented environment with each of you every day. I am a mom and a wife. My son Colin has been attending Primrose since he was 18 months and has enjoyed his time here. My younger son, Henry, is now a student in the Preschool progrm. Together with my husband, Ted, we spend time with family and friends. We love to BBQ together, go to car races, movies, and trail riding. We love living in Round Rock!
