Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

I have been in the childcare industry since March of 2021.
I have been an employee at Primrose School of Parkwood Hill since July of 2026.
Educational Background: 2 years of college completed! I hope to go back soon!
My Family & Pets: I live with my mom, 16 year old brother, cat named Justin, and dog named Squidgy! I am also expecting my first baby girl in November!
My Favorite Thing About Working With Children: Seeing their little faces light up when excited, and knowing that I can be their safe space away from home.
My Family Traditions/Cultural Celebrations: We celebrate most holidays from Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. We are very open to any and all cultural celebrations and love learning about others’ traditions!
My Favorite Color: It chamges a lot but probably green!
My Favorite Animal: Monkeys
Things I Like to Do in my Personal Time: I like to be creative with crafting, journaling, and coloring. When it is not too hot, I emjoy adventuring outside. Most importantly though, I love spending time with my friends and famiy!
