Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

My name is Shaienne Duckworth, and I am proud to have been born and raised in sunny Florida. With 5 years of experience working with children, I am passionate about fostering their growth and development. What I love most about being part of Primrose is the warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a second home.

In my free time, I cherish moments with my son, focus on self-care to stay refreshed and energized, and enjoy exploring new and exciting foods. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and positive environment for every child in my care.

The Private Kindergarten classroom at Primrose School of North Richardson at Lookout offers a small-class-size, individualized approach to early elementary education. Designed for children who are ready for a full-day Kindergarten experience, this program provides both the academic foundation and social-emotional skills children need to thrive in elementary school and beyond. In Private Kindergarten, children: Master reading, writing, and math through engaging, teacher-guided instruction. Explore science, social studies, and problem-solving with hands-on, project-based learning. Build confidence, independence, and leadership through classroom roles and responsibilities. Strengthen social-emotional development by practicing empathy, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
