Mr. Brad
As former Primrose Parents, we are pleased to bring Primrose Schools to Idaho! The Leader in Early Education and care, now serving a greater span of the Treasure Valley!
Mr. Brad has spent his entire career in Education. Holding a B.S. in Education, a M.Ed. and a J.D., and as a 1st generation college graduate, Brad has always kept the student experience top of mind. Ensuring students are exposed to challenging curriculum, taught by committed and caring teachers drives our individual and group excellence.
Mr. Brad is an Air Force Veteran and was honorably discharged, having attained the rank of SSGT.
We have two children, one of whom attended a Primrose School in another state and her Primrose experience initiated this entire process! We have 2 dogs, enjoy family time, being outdoors, attending our kid’s events and exploring Idaho!

Ms. Stephanie
Miss Stephanie is our Executive Director and has 10 years of Primrose experience. Stephanie moved from Colorado to Idaho with her husband for his job over four years ago. From April 2015 through June 2021, she was employed at the Primrose School of Castle Rock and Primrose School of Lone Tree as their Executive Director, with day-to-day management responsibilities. She has over 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood Field.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University. She is excited and honored to be a part of a successful school that believes in the success of every young child. While working closely with the teachers and families, she has witnessed how beneficial the Balanced Learning Curriculum is to each student. While maintaining developmentally appropriate activities for each age group, the curriculum is fun and exciting. She looks forward to ensuring an environment where children flourish and where health and safety remain Priority Number One.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband Trevor and her two Mini Aussie Dogs, Loretta, and Patsy. She also enjoys gardening, refinishing furniture, supporting local 4-H and FFA chapters as it and agriculture was a huge part of her and her husband’s background growing up. Stephanie looks forward to exploring Idaho and all the many amazing things this beautiful state has to offer.

Ms. AnnMarie
Hi! I’m Miss AnnMarie and I am thrilled to be working at the Primrose School of North Meridian on the leadership team as the Director of Operations. I am excited to help bring the highest quality early childhood education to the Treasure Valley.
I was born and raised here in Idaho and have been in the early education field for over 10 years. I have worked in a variety of positions from assistant teacher to director at another facility here in the valley. I have been at Primrose since we opened in September of 2023 and really am looking forward to growing with Primrose and to bringing the quality and standards to Idaho that our children deserve.
I attended Boise State University receiving my LPN and continuing my education in the education area. I look forward to continuing my education soon. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter and family with our 9-year-old goldendoodle Charlie. I look forward to getting to know you and your family and welcoming you into the Primrose family.

Ms. Brooke
Hi! I’m Miss Brooke, and I’m proud to be part of the Leadership Team at Primrose School of North Meridian. It is a joy to be part of a school community that is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education while building strong relationships with the wonderful families we serve.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and hold my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I have worked in childcare and early education since I was 16 years old, beginning as an aide and assistant teacher before becoming a lead teacher at two different schools. I have also worked in Child Protective Services and in college admissions, experiences that have given me a well-rounded perspective on supporting children and families.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and spending time with my fiancé. I especially love caring for my plants and trying new recipes at home. I look forward to partnering with the wonderful children and families who make up our Primrose community.

Ms. Elizabeth
I am excited to be starting a new role at Primrose School of North Meridian; moving from a Lead Teacher in Early Preschool to the Education Coach, serving the entire school. I have spent almost 13 years in Early Childhood Education and have experience working within the Primrose Schools previously in North Carolina and Florida as both an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher in the Early Preschool classroom.
My education background includes beginning at Lewis-Clark State College and continued at College of Western Idaho. I know how crucial these early years are for children and having two of my own attending Primrose, I see how much they are THRIVING and learning so many new things within the Balanced Learning Curriculum. I look forward to seeing how many more children and families can experience the difference at Primrose School of North Meridian.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two children. We love to travel and are a big Disney family that visits the theme parks as often as possible. When we are not traveling or at Disney, we spend time together outside- going on small hikes or playing in the yard.

Franchise Owners
Brad & Brenda Shafer
We are the proud owners of Primrose School of North Meridian, Brenda and Brad Shafer.
After being frustrated with limited learning growth at a daycare in KY for our daughter, Primrose was recommended to us.
From the first moment, we perceived a significant difference. A personal and friendly greeting by the Director, the cleanliness of the building, seeing happy children and teachers – everything was at a higher level and clearly, centered on the children.
Our Daughter THRIVED at Primrose! She was making leaps in her learning, she was excited to go every morning, her teachers were kind and the daily pictures/check-ins through the Procare app created peace of mind and gave us a window into her day.
Upon learning of a pending move to Boise, we sought a Primrose for her and learned Primrose was not yet in ID. Recalling Primrose was a franchise, we inquired, learned more about providing a meaningful preschool experience and initiated the process.
Brad has worked in education his entire career and has two degrees in Education. Brenda conducted the research when seeking care for both of our children and understands key differentiators. Brad is the on-site owner/operator and Brenda (a former Nurse) will continue her health law practice. Both Brenda and Brad are military veterans.
We have two children and love family activities such and skiing, games, spending time with Grandparents and daytrips. We love living in Boise and in Idaho!
“Who children become is as important as what they know” is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® curriculum. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
We are excited to meet you and your family!
