Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Rich
Rasheda’s hometown is in Oklahoma City. She has 26 years of childcare experience. Her favorite food is Mexican food, especially nachos. Her favorite weekend activity is spending time with her kids. Her favorite children’s book is “The napping house/Shhhh! everybody’s sleeping”. When asked what Primrose Friend you most relate to she stated, Og the book worm, who is caring; Billy the duck, who keeps promises; Peanut the pony, who is honest; Percy the rooster, who stands for courage, and Ally the bunny who stands for responsibility. My hometown is Del City, Oklahoma. I have 8 years of childcare experience, and I have my Certificate of Mastery in childcare. My favorite food is Mexican, and on the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite children’s book is “Pete the Cat”.
The Primrose character I relate to the most is Percy the Rooster, who is all about courage. I am most excited about nurturing, loving, and teaching with the students and families.

My hometown is Blanchard, Ok and I have been in childcare for 4 years, and I have gone to college at OCCC . I’m also working on my CDA as well. My favorite food to eat is combination burritos from Taco Casa. On the weekends I enjoy cleaning my house and reading books. My favorite children’s books are the Baby nose to toes series.
The Primrose character I most relates to is Katie the cat who is all about cooperation. I am most excited about getting to know the children and building a home at Primrose School of Norman.
