Franchise Owner
Donna Buchanan
I have had the amazing opportunity to work for Primrose Schools for the past 15 years. I started my journey in a floater position at the Primrose School of Brentwood that I applied for as soon as I graduated college. Since then, I have gained experience in many roles, including Explorers Teacher, Assistant Director, and, most recently, Director of Education. During this time, I was able to help open Primrose School of Nashville Midtown over 8 years ago. Each role I’ve taken on has increased my love and passion for the Primrose community. I’ve not only grown close with our incredible staff, but also each family that joins our community.
My youngest daughter began attending Primrose at 9 weeks old and is a Primrose graduate. It was such a blessing to watch my own child benefit from our private preschool. When she started Kindergarten, her progress went above and beyond the expectations of her age group. Seeing firsthand the effects of “growing up” in Primrose was incredible. This full circle moment allowed me to see the benefits of our school from the parent perspective. Both experiences have allowed me to grow into a strong leader in our school and to feel so much gratitude for our Primrose family. I am thrilled to now have the opportunity to become an owner so that I can invest back into the place I have called home for the last 15 years. It will be an honor to spend the next chapter of my life partnering with other amazing owners and building a foundational community.
