Mary Cordero

In my personal time, I enjoy cooking and baking, gathering with my extended family, and going on adventures with my husband, moments that keep me grounded, inspired, and connected to what matters most.

Veronica DeJesus
Hello! My name is Ms. Veronica, and I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Director here at Primrose School of Morristown. Many of you may know me from my previous role as Administrative Assistant, and over the past years in this position, I’ve truly enjoyed deepening my connection with our students, families, and staff.
Since joining the Primrose family in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the incredible growth and learning that happens within our classrooms each day. In my role as Assistant Director, I’m committed to supporting our teachers, nurturing strong relationships with families, and ensuring a positive, engaging environment for every child in our care.
I’m grateful to be part of such a passionate and dedicated team, and I look forward to continuing to grow alongside our amazing school community.

Emily Prins
Hi, I am Emily Prins-Sosa, “Miss Emily”. I’m a January Aquarius & was raised in Elizabeth, NJ with my younger sister, mom, and dad. I now live in Bridgewater, NJ with my husband, where we just got married this summer of August 2024.
I graduated in 2019 from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ with a Bachelor’s degree in Art & Psychology with a concentration of child development. I have been an early educator for about 8 years. I enjoy working in the early childhood education field and I have worked at multiple childcare centers in NJ as well as another Primrose School. Throughout the years I love to watch how children enjoy the world by celebrating their differences and having their families get involved with their customs and traditions.
In my spare time, I love to travel the world, try new foods, work out, and spend time with my family. In 2023, I was certified with the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, which is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education. I look forward to my journey as I dive into this new exciting new role at Primrose Morristown.

Alyssa Thomas
Hi, my name is Alyssa and I’m super excited to join the Primrose family as the new Administrative Assistant! I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. I have 5 years of paralegal experience and 3 years of childcare experience as a nanny and as an assistant preschool teacher. Childcare is where my passion truly lies! I love interacting with the little ones – they bring so much joy to my life. I can’t wait to get to know all the children and families and to grow here at Primrose!

Theresa Janosik
I am Terri Janosik and am very excited to be the receptionist at the Primrose School of Morristown.
When I am not with my Primrose family, I enjoy a long walk, a good book, days at the beach, and spending time with my three children and their families.

Reginald Worrell
Hello, I am Reginald, affectionately known as “Chef Reggie.” I have been a chef for 6 years, and love interacting with the children while delivering food to their classrooms. They make me smile every day!
I am currently studying Psychology at Union County College, and training to become a personal trainer and Behavior Technician.

Yaritza Santos
Hi, my name is Yaritza, but you can also call me “Miss Iza.” I’m so excited to be part of the team here at Primrose.
I have been working with infants and young children for over 9 years.
I love to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, long walks with my pup, and reading.

Mariana Tito
Hi, My name, Mariana Marilu Tito and I am so excited to be part of Primrose Family as an teacher helper. I’m a mother of five great boys. Some of the things I love to watch a good romance movie, take a long walk to let some of my ideas come together, and take care of my grandsons (7 in total).
I can’t way to see all the new activities and program I will learn by being part of the Primrose Family. I will not only put in parties the activities that I learn in the school but will also use it on my own grandsons. Learning and helping kids develop is my passion and will never stop.

Alicia Alvarez
I’m Alicia. I have had the privilege of working with preschool children since 1993 when my daughters were preschoolers as well. In October 2001 I was awarded the Child Development Associate (CDA credential) by the Council for Professional Recognition. In February 2005 the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services Office of Licensing recognized me and awarded me a group teacher approval certificate.
My favorite part of working with children is that it gives me satisfaction to see how they progress from day to day. One of my favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse A Cookie” written by Laura Numeroff. In my personal time I like to relax at home, spend time with my grandchildren, have time alone and spend time with my husband.

Dawne Gray
Hello , my name is Dawne Gray and it is my pleasure to work in the infant classroom at Primrose School of Morristown.
I have worked in the childcare field , as a Daycare owner/ Provider, and substitute teacher, for the past 25 years. I am thrilled to be part of the Primrose Team!
I have a degree in Business and a 2nd in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education.
On a personal note: In my spare time I love spending time with my significant other hiking , taking helicopter rides, flying to new places and cooking together . I also enjoy spending time with my daughter, my family and close friends, and last but not least, caring for the babies!

Jasmine Frazier
Hello, my name is Jasmine Frazier and I am happy to be joining the Primrose School of Morristown as a Toddler teacher. I graduated from Union County College with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children of all backgrounds at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Union County. I have also shared my passion for people through working as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care.
I love working with children because each day brings new opportunities. Just like plants, children need someone to be patient, kind and passionate about their growth. “Plant the seeds of kindness and watch them sprout” is a philosophy I observe each day. In my downtime, I love to watch court shows and CSI. I also have a new found love of fragrances.

Hi my name is Marie. I’m a mother of 4 children and I’m from Whippany. I come to Primrose with an education in childcare. I am happy to be here. I am very well equipped to meet the every day challenges of loving and caring for all the little ones. I take pleasure to see them reach new milestones. I also believe that they are like little flowers blooming each day to new levels of destiny.

Hi my name is Marlene.
I was born and raised in Peru. My first language is Spanish. I’ve always has a passion of caring for others, especially children. Prior to working at Primrose school, I was a nanny in New York City.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I value the opportunity primrose has given me to care for the children that attend here, and I am dedicated to aiding them in their growth and development as their time here is the foundation of their future.

Michele Corcoran
Hello, my name is Michele Corcoran. I’ve been working at Primrose Morristown since it opened last July. Prior to joining Primrose, I spent the last 20 years raising my three daughters and volunteering at their schools.
I was thrilled when Primrose came to Morristown and offered me the opportunity to continue working with children. There is nothing I enjoy more.

Kaitlyn Recke
I’m Kaitlyn Recke and I want to tell you a little more about myself.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology. I have 5 years experience working in a childcare. The thing I love most about working with young children is watching them grow and learn each day. My Favorite children’s book is The Arthur series. In my free time, I love to knit and watch movies.

Hello, my name is Rosa. I am 50 years old and from Ecuador. I only speak Spanish. I have always worked as a domestic worker and I really like cooking. I am very excited to work at Primrose School of Morristown.

Irllys Conde

My name is Irllys, and I am thrilled to join the Primrose family as a Toddler Teacher. I come to Primrose School with 15 years of experience in early childhood education, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. I am eager to contribute to the positive and enriching learning environment that Primrose School is known for. My journey in education has equipped me with a deep understanding of the developmental needs of children, and I am committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive space where each child can explore, learn, and grow.
Bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom. I am dedicated to implementing age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive and motor skills while fostering a love for learning. At Primrose School, I look forward to not only guiding toddlers through their early educational journey but also to building meaningful connections with families and fellow educators as we work together to create a nurturing and enriching environment for our young learners.
In my free time, I enjoy a mix of activities that add joy to my life. Cooking allows me to unleash my creativity in the kitchen. Dancing is my rhythmic escape, a source of joy and expression. Working out keeps me energized and focused, both physical and mentally. Lastly, spending quality time with family and friends, creating cherished moments that enrich my life.

Guadalupe Fernandez
Hi, my name is Guadalupe Fernandez. I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose family as a teacher helper. I’m a mother to two daughters, who are in their late twenties.
Some of the things I love to do is go on long walks with my four year old French Bulldog, Theodore. I also like spending my time on the weekend inviting my extended family over for game night.
I am excited to see all the new activities and programs I will learn by being part of the Primrose family and helping the kids develop.

Ellie Vivero
I’m Ellie! I’m 29 years old and I graduated from Rutgers with a bachelors degree in psychology. I love working with children especially in early childhood and elementary settings. I’m patient, flexible, and creative. I like to paint, read, and hiking. Currently I stay at home with my 10 month old twin girls and manage an AirBnB near Mountain Creek!

Joely Disla
My name is Joely Disla and i am very excited and grateful to be working in Primrose this school year! I have been teaching for 15 years and I look forward to meeting families and developing strong relationships to support your child’s learning. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic.

Jodie Derroche
Hi, my name is Jodie Derroche. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to New Jersey in 2007. My family is from Grenada, which I love and embrace my Caribbean background and culture.
I have 6 years of experience working with all age groups. I worked with East Brunswick public schools to daycares. I love working with children, and helping them learn new skills!

Paola Herrera
Hi, My name is Paola Herrera, and I am so excited to be part of the Primrose Family as an Infant teacher. I’m a mother of two great boys. One thing I love to do is read a good book and do some window shopping.
I graduated from the Universidad Estatal De Guayaquil in Ecuador with a Bachelor’s in educational sciences, with a mention in early childhood educator in 2019. I have worked as a educator for 8 years first as a teacher assistant and then as a teacher. I truly Love to teach and help develop the minds of children to the best of my skills. I’m Always learning and picking up new skills. Before moving to the USA in late 2022, I had a classroom size of 10 kids that I gave my all to develop to become great kids. I can’t wait to see all the new activities and programs I will learn by being part of the Primrose Family.

Sofia Avgerinopoulos
Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Sofia and I’m so excited to be joining the Primrose family! I have my bachelors’ degree from Seton Hall in Advertising Design but have always had a passion for working with children! I have years of experience ranging from support teacher to admin. I also have worked as an ABA paraprofessional.
In my free time I’m always painting or getting creative in any way I can. I also love to travel whether that be across the states or to a new country! I look forward to working with you and to ensuring our classroom is a warm and inviting environment where you child can learn and grow to their full potential!

As a teen I worked with young children for an aftercare program. then as I got older I did 2 years as a teachers aid while going to school. I then received my associates in Education and have been a head teacher for three years. In the Spring I will go back for my Bachelors! I just love working with children especially 3 and 4 year old’s as they bring so much joy and light!

Hello, my name is Dicxia and I am excited to be part of the primrose school group, a place full of learning and lots of fun. A little about me… I have 4 years of experience taking care of children and I love spending time with my family and friends. My favorite sport is soccer. I like to play bowling and board games. I like to travel, go shopping, and exploring nature. The sea and the countryside are my favorite places to visit. I’m interested in learning new things and getting to know new cultures.

I have been working with children of all ages since my freshman year of high school.

Se'lah Edwards
Hello, My name is Se’lah Edwards, and I am passionate about guiding young minds on their educational journey. I have an associate’s degree in liberal arts with a focus on English and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
With three years of teaching experience, I have worked in both Montessori and traditional school settings, allowing me to develop a well-rounded approach to education. My experience in multiple Montessori schools has provided me with a strong foundation in child-centered learning, while my time in non-Montessori environments has broadened my perspective on different teaching methodologies.
I truly believe in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children feel encouraged to explore, grow, and develop a love for learning. Teaching is more than just a profession for me—it is my passion! I look forward to inspiring and supporting each child in their educational journey.

Sherice Murren
Hello! My name is Sherice Murren. It’s my pleasure to work with the Primrose School of Morristown.
I have worked in the childcare field for about 7 years now as assistant and lead teacher. I am overly excited to become part of the primrose team.
I am also a 27 year old college student studying at Berkeley College NY for criminology. I am a mom of a 3 year old boy named Jeremiah. I love literally everything about being a mom. My greatest accomplishment thus far!

Mari Ines
Hi my name is Mari! I have been working with kids since 2015 as a volunteer at the neighborhood house in Morristown. I have always loved working with kids, they just have their own spark that always brings me joy. I am currently going to school to become a social worker and to work in a field with children! I love spending time with my sister, she is my best friend, you will always catch us laughing. I am excited to start this new journey at Primrose with all the children and staff!

Marilena Rapalo
Hello! My name is Marilena and I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose community. I have been teaching for 12 years and I love learning from the children every day. I truly love building their confidence and being there for their “A-HAH!” moments. In my free time I enjoy crafts, gaming with friends, and going to hockey games (Go Devils!). I am very much looking forward to sharing laughs and wonderful memories with your children as they learn and grow.

Pina Beale
Hi! My name is Pina Beale, and I have been an early childhood educator for over ten years.
I hold degrees in Psychology and Sociology, with an emphasis in early childhood, with a minor in English, focusing on children’s literature.
I am extremely excited to be working in the Preschool classroom here at Primrose in Morristown.
My hobbies outside of the classroom are reading, writing and attending concerts and events.
I also love being a fur mom to my dogs, and spending time with my big Italian family (especially my firstborn nephew), and my boyfriend.
I already enjoy being a part of the Primrose family, and look forward to being a part of your children’s educational journey, and future!
Tinu Joseph
I have dedicated my life to reimagining arts education and advocating for quality STEAM, reading, arts, and culture education programming. My professional journey has taken me through many roles—assistant director for a sleepaway camp, educator, drama teacher, and crisis coordinator—and today, I am proud to continue this work in the nonprofit sector.
I have developed STEAM programming for preschool through elementary-aged children and serve as the executive producer of the ICAP Show. In this role, I have had the honor of producing shows that feature guests whose work has appeared on HBO, PBS, Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, Starz, MOMA PS1, Schomburg Center, Storm King Arts Center, the James Beard Foundation, as well as Grammy, Oscar, and Peabody award–winning artists.
As a dedicated educator and passionate advocate for empowering students through hands-on learning, I am always seeking innovative ways to engage children and make learning meaningful and exciting. My approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity—skills I believe are essential for every child’s growth.
Beyond my work locally, I have also created international reading and arts programming in Jamaica, West Indies, and I am proud to serve on the board of the Youth Orchestra of Essex County, NJ. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and daughter.

Hi! My name is Kimberly and I am a recent college graduate! I received my bachelors degree in Arts in Information Technology. I have worked at Little Ivy academy for more than a year where I worked for an afterschool STEAM program instructor! Excited to be a part of the Primrose family!

Cumanda Espinoza
Hi! My name is Cumanda and I am originally from Ecuador. I am very creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working and I believe these are vital characteristics to bring to a classroom. I have a fondness for children and believe that they can be taught vital and valuable life lessons during their time in preschool which will help them grow emotionally and mentally into mature young people. I’m extremely passionate about having a big input into a young person’s life and making a difference. I firmly believe that in order to become a great aide teacher, the desire to help and assist children should be there. The learning process can be tough and challenging, which is one of the things that I really love about this profession.

Jessica Paolillo
Hello, my name is Ms. Jessica, and I will be teaching Preschool/Pre-K here at Primrose School of Morristown.
I am a fun, outgoing person who absolutely loves working with children because they absorb everything and learn so quickly.
I graduated from Montclair State University in 2022 and have been teaching preschool and pre-k ever since. I am also a dance instructor and teach 4–6-year-olds at my studio.
I am very excited to be here at Primrose and cannot wait to get to know all of the students!

I am Ms. Christine. I have a BS In Mathematics from Wagner College and earned my education certificate from SUNY at New Paltz.
I was a building-based substitute teacher last year and truly enjoyed being in the classroom with the students. I am looking forward to working with your children and watching them grow and learn!

Samantha Jones
Hi, my name is Ms. Samantha. I graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Sociology and a minor in Teaching Students with Disabilities. My passion has always been teaching and working in the classroom.
This will be my 3rd year teaching within the Morris School District!

Kristina Jayne
Hi, my name is Ms. Tina. I graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s in Psychology. I am currently applying to graduate school to obtain my master’s in school counseling. On my nights off, I work at a small Italian restaurant. Outside of work, I love being active, spending time with my dog and fiancé, as well as my family and friends and just enjoying life! I love being in a classroom environment and spending time shaping little minds! This will be my fourth year teaching Pre-K. I look forward to an amazing year and working with your child.

This is my first year teaching with the Morris School District and I am super excited to work with you children this school year.

Kimberly Mintz
Hello, my name is Kimberly Mintz and I enjoy working in the preschool class here at Primrose School of Morristown.
I have a BA in Communications, and after working twenty years in the corporate environment I wanted to do something different and fill my days with something meaningful. I enjoy working with children and being able to see them learn and grow. My passion in life is life is to be helpful to those who are in need.
I have been happily married for 21 years, and enjoy spending a lot of time with my family and thirteen-year-old daughter. In my spare time, I practice yoga, enjoy cooking, and travel. I also volunteer at homeless shelters in the local area.

Amya Highsmith
Hello, my name is Amya Highsmith.
I am super excited to be joining the Primrose team!
I am currently majoring in Biology studying to be a Pediatrician. My passion for working with children is deeply rooted. Since I was young, I spent most of my time in the pediatric unit with my parents and pre-mature twin brothers. Watching the doctors and nurses care for the children intrigued me. I started working with children as a young teenager and being able to be here at Primrose is fate.

Ana Romero
Hi, I’m Ana, and the highlight of my life is being a mom to my two amazing daughters.
I started my career in education in Peru while studying for my education degree. I initially studied Business Administration and began teaching 2nd grade and up, teaching for a total of eight yeas and gaining valuable classroom experience.
When I moved the the U.S., I took a bit of a detour before returning to the field I love. I spent three years as an infant teacher in a daycare and now I work in a public school aftercare program with kids ages 3-5.
I absolutely love creating a warm, supportive space where children can thrive.
