Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Shundra
Let’s get to know each other.
My name is Shaundra, and I was born and raised in Atlanta. I have experience in childcare as a Lead Toddler Teacher and a Lead Early Preschool Teacher, where I’ve supported young children in their early development and learning. I am currently working toward my Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education, which continues to strengthen my knowledge and passion for teaching. In my free time, I enjoy writing spoken word, spending time outdoors, and being with my husband and our four children. I also love trying new restaurants and traveling. I believe education begins at a very young age, as children are like sponges—they absorb so much from the world around them. I enjoy engaging with children by being active, attentive, and nurturing, and I’m passionate about helping them learn and grow every day.

Hi, my name is Ms. Suzette. I began working at the Primrose School of Mansell Road in 2022. I have several years of experience as a nanny, and I’m excited to apply that knowledge in an early childhood education setting. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, reading, and watching documentaries. I also have interest in religion, health & wellness, and farming. I look forward to meeting your child!

Hello, I’m Ms. Andrea. I began working in childcare in 2022. My best friend, Ms. Jazzmin, recommended me to the Primrose School of Mansell Road and I was thrilled to join the team in 2023. I love playing a part in the education of my students and watching them come into their own personalities. Hello, I’m Ms. Syvelba. I’m from Atlanta, Georgia, and have worked in childcare since 2002. I started with transportation and became a Georgia Pre-K teacher after graduating in 2006. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History from Clark Atlanta University and a TCC in Early Childhood Education from Chattahoochee Technical College. I love seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they understand something new—it’s what keeps me passionate about teaching. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing, bowling, and traveling. I’m a proud mom of three and have a sweet Lab named Susie. I look forward to being part of your child’s learning journey!
