Primrose School of Las Colinas

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Designated external drop off and pick up area to ensure a contact-less check-in and check-out process
  • Temperature checks and health screenings for all students, staff, and teachers before entry into the building
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Requiring masks or face covering for all teachers, staff, and students in Pre-Kindergarten and older
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch areas and classroom toys
  • Maintaining low teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • During pandemic, campus is limited to current staff and enrolled children only (no outside visitors)
