I strongly believe that high-quality early childhood education lays the foundation for a child’s lifelong success. It is my passion to provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. At Primrose KU, I am dedicated to partnering with families and teachers to ensure that every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. Ms. Melisa J.
Hello Primrose KU Families!
My name is Melisa, and I am honored to serve as the Director here at Primrose. I have been in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years, and for the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of being part of the Primrose family. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that allow children to thrive, explore, and grow into their fullest potential. Watching children discover new skills and develop confidence brings me joy each and every day. I am so happy to be serving and being a part of the Primrose KU family.
I also believe that a strong school community begins with trust and connection. One of my greatest priorities is fostering a safe, welcoming space where parents, children, and staff members feel supported and valued. I take pride in building strong partnerships with families and guiding teachers as they provide nurturing, high-quality care. It is my mission to ensure that every child in our school feels loved, respected, and encouraged on their unique learning journey.

Ms. Courtney G.
Hello!
My name is Courtney, and I am proud to serve as the Administrative Assistant at The Primrose School at KU Medical Center. As a Kansas City, Kansas native now living in KCMO, I bring with me over a decade of experience in early education and childcare, along with more than 15 years as a dance and theatre educator. In my role here at Primrose, I guide prospective and current families through the registration and enrollment process, helping to ensure that every family feels welcomed and supported. I also have the joy of planning and coordinating school events and fundraisers, including beloved traditions like Trunk or Treat and Spring Fling, which bring our community together in fun and meaningful ways.
My journey in education has always been rooted in a love for both the arts and child development. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a nanny, camp counselor, center supervisor, and teaching artist. I continue to share my passion for the arts by teaching movement, theatre, and arts integration programs across Kansas City, including at Starlight Theatre and The Coterie Theatre. I deeply believe in the power of the arts to enhance literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving, social-emotional growth, physical health, attendance, test scores, and teamwork in students. Inspired by my mother, Mrs. Jobe—who has served in educational and administrative roles for over 40 years—I often say my life has felt like an extended work-study in education.
Outside of Primrose, I am currently studying for my certification in birth and postpartum care while continuing to perform professionally in theatre and working as a group fitness and yoga instructor. It brings me great joy to share my diverse experiences and energy with the Primrose KU community, and it is truly a privilege to support our students, families, teachers, leadership team—and, of course, my mother.

Franchise Owners
The Gosai Family
Hello! I’m Karishma Gosai, proud Franchise Owner of the Primrose School at KU Medical Center. My husband, Rooshil, and I moved to Kansas City from Southern California earlier this year, and we’ve absolutely fallen in love with the community here.
With over 15 years of experience in education—primarily as a Special Education teacher—I’ve had the privilege of working with both elementary and middle school students. I hold a K–6 elementary teaching credential, a K–12 special education credential, and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Education has always been my passion, and I’m deeply committed to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for young learners.
On weekends, Rooshil and I love exploring Kansas City together—trying out new coffee shops and restaurants, playing pickleball, and cheering on our favorite football teams. We’ve really enjoyed immersing ourselves in the local football culture and connecting with others who share that same energy and excitement.
I truly believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning. At Primrose, we focus on nurturing the whole child—supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through a balanced approach that blends purposeful play with meaningful learning experiences.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is building strong, lasting relationships with our Primrose families. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each family, creating a sense of trust and connection, and being a part of their child’s growth and development. It’s an honor to walk alongside you in this journey.
