Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mikey Collins
Hi, my name is Mikey Collins and I am a Pre-K teacher here at Primrose. I have been working with children for around two years. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow into their own person. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, painting/drawing, and playing video games. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Sarah Skufca
Hi, my name is Sarah Skufca and I am a support teacher here at Primrose Hilliard West. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese/Linguistics. I enjoy working with children and volunteer with an elementary Bible study group. In my free time, I love to do hand embroidery and play card games. I am excited to connect with all of the families at our school.

Valerie Bartholomew
Hi, my name is Valerie Bartholomew and I am a Pre-K teacher here at Primrose Hilliard West. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. For the last 14 years, I have been a stay-at-home Mom. I have worked as a substitute teacher in the Hilliard City School District for the last 5 years. For three years, I have worked in various daycare settings and for another three years, was a private nanny. I feel blessed for getting the opportunity to work with your children. I am passionate about reading to your children and providing a positive and supportive attitude to their growth. I spend my free time with my family (my husband and my two high school students). We like to cook together, listen to music, garden, and watch adventure shows like The Amazing Race. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I look forward to getting to know you!
