Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourI am Jessica Schmollinger, the proud owner of Primrose School of Greenwood! My husband, Drew, and I have three children and live in the Greenwood community. As a parent, I understand the importance of safe and exceptional educational opportunities. Our family loves to spend time doing any sort of child-friendly activity, attending sporting events, and traveling to warmer weather.
After receiving an education degree at Indiana University, I traveled to Sydney, Australia where I lived and taught students ages six-eight. Following my time in Australia, I traveled to Fiji and immersed myself in the Fijian culture and educational setting. Upon returning to Greenwood, I taught several years of K-2 instruction. Recently, I worked as an education consultant training educators how to use their educational technology. Early childhood education is a true passion of mine and I have always wanted to teach and serve children.
As an education professional, I have been familiar with Primrose Schools for many years. However, the importance of exceptional early learning experiences for young children did not come to the forefront of my mind until my husband and I began to grow our family. We value immersing our children in culture, community, character, and educational experiences. We believe that Primrose Schools will allow our children to learn, grow, and strengthen their developmental skills. I am looking forward to providing these same opportunities to children and families in the Greenwood community.
Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Hi! I’m Jenna Arbuckle, the Assistant Director at Primrose School of Greenwood! My passion for providing quality early childhood education grows each day and I’m so proud to be part of Primrose Schools in the Greenwood community. I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have vast experience working with elementary-age children, as well as Infants through Pre-Kindergarten age children. During my career so far, I have worked in a variety of settings, from a toddler classroom, to a 3rd grade classroom, to a one-on-one behavior therapy setting, and more. I had the amazing experience of working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder through Applied Behavior Analysis one-on-one therapy for a few years and the experience I gained in that position taught me many behavior management techniques that can be useful for young children. Most recently, I was the Director at another accredited child care center serving ages 6 weeks-12 years, where I ran the day-to-day operations and taught in all classrooms when needed. All of this experience working with children and I don’t have any of my own (yet), but I do have two dogs (Simba and Scout), as well as a cat (Sushi), that I consider my babies for now. I live in a cute little house in Downtown Bargersville with my boyfriend and our pets, where we enjoy playing in our yard and hosting our friends. I was drawn to Primrose Schools because of the Balanced Learning curriculum. This research-informed curriculum encompasses teachers providing a balance of purposeful play and nurturing guidance, combining learning models that I strongly believe in to promote young children’s learning and development. I am so proud and excited to bring this life-changing early education experience to our community!

I am Katie Booker, Director of the Primrose School of Greenwood. I attended Taylor University where I achieved my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and also where I met my husband Duaine. I have had the opportunity to work with children as an Elementary and Title 1 Teacher, the director of a child care, children's coordinator and as a mom of 3 amazing children. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our family and friends. We love to travel and watch our children participate in their sports activities. I came to Primrose School because I am passionate about providing a safe and loving environment, as well as a high quality education for young children. I love everything that Primrose stands for, and am excited to offer this experience to the families of our community.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
We’re ready for summer. Are you? Join us for a season of Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® as we learn and explore through STEAM, sports and fun in the sun!

There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
