Nicole Verbit
Hello! My name is Ms. Nicole and I am the Area Director for our Garden Oaks, Summerwood and Lakeshore locations. I am originally from Houston, Texas and became apart of the Primrose Family since 2012. I have a BFA from Texas Tech University in Art Education, Early Childhood and a total of 12 years of childcare experience. On the weekends, I enjoy playing outside with my three children. My favorite food is sushi and my favorite children’s book is Mouse Paint and The Giving Tree. The Primrose Pal I most relate to is Erwin the Dog because I, too, love art and making new friends! I am most excited to watch your children discover new wonders in the classroom.
Jennifer Thames-Gates
My name is Jennifer Thames Gates and my friends call me Jeni. I have been working in The field of Early Childhood Education for about 35 years. I have taught Pre- Kindergarten 3 and 4 and Kindergarten. For 22 years, I was the Director of Memorial Crème de la Crème. I am excited to be part of the Primrose family!
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and am a Certified Director. I also work with The American Red Cross as CPR/ First Aid and CPR instructor.
When not working, I love being with my husband and my three children and my grandson supporting their activities. As they are all grown up, l fill my empty nest by coaching The CheerAbilities Team – The Rainboas of Stars Vipers Katy.
I enjoy the Garden Oaks area and love getting to try all of the restaurants in the area!
Britney Holley-Davidson
Hello, my name is Britney and I am the Co-Director here at the Primrose School of Garden Oaks. I joined Primrose in July 2021, and have 15 years of childcare experience prior to joining Primrose. On the weekends I enjoy spending time at home and at the pool. I am excited to meet all of our families and getting to know everyone.
Kara Addkison
My name is Kara Addkison, I hold an Associate of Arts in Teaching Early Childhood-6th grade and have spent the past 21 years in early childhood education, with 11 of those years in a director role. I’m also a mom of two boys who keep me busy with their various sports and activities. I love what I do because I get to support children as they grow and learn, build meaningful relationships with families, and create a center environment that parents can trust and feel confident leaving their children in each day. I’m truly excited to join the Primrose of Garden Oaks family and look forward to being part of a community that values high-quality early education as much as I do.
Luisa Soto Villamil
Ms. Luisa is from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She joined the Primrose family in September 2020 and has worked in childcare for a year prior to joining us. Luisa holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Hamburgers are her favorite food and she loves to spend time outdoors and at the beach. Her favorite book is The Three Little Pigs and most relates to Erwin the Dog.
Jacaria Brown
Ms. Jacaria is from Houston, Texas. On the weekend, she loves to spend time with her friends and bowl. Fun Fact: She is in a Bowling League! Her favorite book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and can’t wait wait to watch your kiddos grow and learn! Ms. Jacaria is so excited to join the Leadership Team as our Administrative Assistant.
Jiovanna Cirlos
Ms. Jiovanna Cirlos was born in Houston, Texas. She joined the Primrose family in September 2020 and has 5 previous year in childcare. She holds a HS diploma and is currently getting her degree in Education. Her favorite foods are Steak and Whataburger and enjoys to watch baseball and go fishing on the weekends. Ms. Jiovanna’s favorite book is The Cat in the Hat and most relates to Og the bookworm.
Remyka Chandler
HI! My name is Ms. Remyka and I am one of the Young Infant teachers! I have 9 years of childcare experience, my favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow from an infant to a grown up. In my personal time I like to spend time with my family and friends, my most favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween. I’m so excited to watch all the little ones learn and grow!
Cammy Davis
Hi my name is Cammy and I am a teacher in young infants! I come with 6 years of childcare experience and I’m very excited to be apart of the Primrose Family! My favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and sing, in my personal time I like to do makeup, shop, try new things and travel. I’m so excited to watch the littles learn and grow!

Larry and Brandi Muse
Meet Brandi and Larry Muse – dedicated Franchise Owners of Primrose School of Garden Oaks! As longtime residents of the greater Houston area and experienced early education leaders, they proudly operate three Primrose schools throughout the city. Driven by a passion for helping children thrive, they are excited to bring the proven Primrose Experience to even more families in the local community.
Before becoming Franchise Owners, Larry and Brandi Muse built successful careers in their respective fields—Larry in the wireless communications industry and Brandi as an elementary school teacher for over eight years. However, after welcoming their son in 2002, they felt a strong desire to shift toward a more family-centered path. Seeking a meaningful way to impact children and families, they discovered Primrose Schools and knew instantly it aligned with both their personal and professional values. Their journey into business ownership began with a shared passion for education, care, and making a lasting difference.
From the moment we discovered Primrose Schools, “We knew this was the path we were meant to take,” Brandi shared. “Our family’s values were perfectly aligned with those of Primrose, and as an educator, I was confident that the exceptional Balanced Learning® approach would provide children with the solid academic and life foundation they deserve.”
Brandi and Larry proudly opened Primrose School at Summerwood in the spring of 2005. The school quickly earned a reputation for its exceptional early education and nurturing environment, and in 2012, it was honored with the prestigious Primrose Presidential Award. Building on that success, they opened their second location, Primrose School at Lakeshore, in 2016. Both schools are known for their strong ties to the community, including support for the local school district, charitable organizations, and youth sports teams. Primrose School of Garden Oaks will celebrate its 5-year anniversary this October and remains proud to provide the same genuine dedication and commitment to educational excellence to families in Garden Oaks and the surrounding areas.
Outside of their schools, Brandi and Larry are actively involved in their community, serving on Primrose leadership councils, volunteering with local organizations, and cherishing time with their family. Their son, Corbin, is a Texas Tech University graduate, and their daughter, Jade, is currently attending The University of Tennessee. Both are proud alumni of Primrose Schools.
