Our After School Care
Our Explorer program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children starting at five years old. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more.

- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios

Ms. Miriah Harrell
Hi! I’m Ms. Miriah. I have a true passion to work with children. I’ve been on all sides of a childcare center, and have taught in every age range. I am always looking to learn, grow, and gain more knowledge in child development. I enjoy watching children attain their milestones in learning. My goal in teaching is to change lives and give children the foundation that I had growing up. Before Primrose, I was a Parent Engagement Director. I enjoy working with and involving parents in their child’s education whenever I can. When I’m not teaching, I am crafting and spending time with my children.
Ms. Natalie Barker
Hi! I’m Ms. Natalie. I am currently working towards my own BA in Education at Freed-Hardeman University. I love spending time with children. I have known I wanted to work in education since the 8th grade. I had a phenomenal teacher in 8th grade, and I vowed to be just like him. Outside of teaching, I am a theater director. I also enjoy creating art, playing my guitar, and singing. One of my favorite things about being a teacher is seeing the children’s sense of humor!
