Ms. Rachael MacLeod
Rachael MacLeod has lived with early childhood education throughout her entire life. She started out as a teacher’s aide and substitute teacher for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten in her hometown Norman, Oklahoma. She obtained a BA in Creative Writing with Minors in English and Visual Arts from Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont. During that time she volunteered for Big Brothers & Big Sisters while also running Cross Country and being a Secretary of SAAC. After graduating she went on to obtain her MFA in Creative Writing at California College of the Arts in San Francisco/Oakland. During that time she was a TA for an English 2 course. It was during that time that Rachael MacLeod realized she missed working with the younger years.
She relocated to Houston, Texas after graduation and while obtaining her certification for EC – 6th Generalist Rachael substituted for multiple elementary schools. One of those schools was a Primrose School. After obtaining her certification she worked in a private school in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten before moving into public school as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. During this time she also earned her ESL certification. When an opening at Primrose School of Eldridge Parkway for a Kindergarten teacher came available she decided to join our team. Rachael MacLeod became an Educational Coach for the school in 2018 for the Wonder program. In 2021 she became the Assistant Director.

I am Yetunde Nelson-Evbuomwan. I have a Bachelors Degree, a Masters degree as well as a Texas Director certificate. I have worked in the childcare field for over 15 years now, holding positions including Teacher, Mentor, Education Coach, Center Director. I started my journey with Primrose Eldridge Parkway in 2015 as an Early Preschool teacher and worked my way up to the position of a Pre-K teacher. I left briefly to explore a next level position in my career. However, I missed the Primrose family, structure and way of teaching and Coaching and before I knew it, I was back where I belong. My current position with Primrose School of Eldridge Parkway is Education Support Specialist. I enjoy the classroom experience with children of all ages. I equally enjoy helping teachers be the best version of themselves as they teach and nurture the children in their care.
