Primrose School at East Lake

Parent Testimonials

  • My older daughter has been at Primrose since a year old (I was fortunate to have my parents keep her until then) and my infant daughter has been enrolled since 3 months. I have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Primrose, from being involved in activities there to getting to know the loving teachers. I have never once worried about their care, which is important for a working mother. We started pre-k there this year and I have loved seeing her graduate to this milestone and experience all the different emphases/curriculum with Ms. Carter. It's the perfect combination of new education while still being the secure Primrose environment to which we are accustomed. I have also been very impressed with the Explorers program, which is focused on themes and learning much of the time rather than just after-school babysitting or daycare. Ms. Nia, Ms. Hutchins, Ms. Shari, Ms. Carter and Ms. Kesha have all been vital to my oldest daughter's time there.

  • My son started at Primrose East Lake when he was ~4 months old and just transitioned to the Early Preschool room. Our experience at Primrose has been wonderful. The teachers in the infant room are so caring and took such wonderful care of Baylen. They were also so helpful when it was time for transitions like starting with solid foods, starting to use a sippy cup, etc. Baylen loved the young toddler room and we were constantly amazed at how much he learned every day. The sign language curriculum is one of the best things at Primrose - Baylen can communicate so many things to us since he learned this long before he was able to verbalize. I can't say enough about the wonderful teachers that spend so much effort making sure the kids are well taken care of and constantly teaching them so many things. We are so very happy with our experience at Primrose.

  • My daughter, Eliana, started in the Infant Room at Primrose East Lake in August of 2011 when she was almost 11 months old. Since then, I have been nothing but happy with the care she has received at the school, as she has now been through the Young Toddler, Early Preschool and Preschool One rooms. Every teacher seems to enjoy what they do and are passionate about children. I also tend to see high turnover rates in other care centers, but Primrose East Lake teachers have all been there for a long time, which tells me something about the leadership and management of the school. The Owners, Mr. Jim and Mrs. Lynn are very present and involved with the school. Additionally, the Director Ms. Cinnamon and her Assistant Director, Ms. Samantha are wonderful. They are both very easy to talk to, always make themselves available when needed and work great with each other to create a good experience for the kids and families. I can definitely say that I can drop Eliana off at school and go on to work with a piece of mind that she will be well taken care of! We Heart Primrose School at East Lake!

  • My son transferred to Primrose East Lake when he was 11 months old from a bad daycare experience. He started in the infant room and has moved to the young toddler room. He is now 18 months and has learned sign language and his vocabulary and understanding has been improving quickly. I am very pleased with the care and love he receives from both his current and previous teachers. There is nothing better than the feeling that your child is well taken care of and happy while he is at school.

  • Both of my girls have attended Primrose at East Lake for almost a year now. They have learned so much and are so proud to come home from school and share their day with me. The teachers are so sweet and caring. They make my youngest feel comfortable at drop off, when she is a bit sad to leave me. Upon pick up, my girls usually want to stay and play!!! The teachers go above and beyond what we have seen at other daycares and make a point to speak with me about my girls everytime I see them. The director and assistant director are fantastic as well!!! We love Primrose and would recommend it to any of our friends!

  • We moved to the area about 10 months ago, and our first thought was finding a good daycare facility. We researched several in the area, but after a visit to Primrose East Lake, our choice was clear. They had a great staff and they were really focused on a clear curriculum plan. The staff were always warm and inviting, and the facility was always clean and well-maintained. There is always someone to help when you need it, and they always have a warm greeting for you. The owners seem very involved in the running of the daycare, and add nice thoughtful touches or extras for parents. In our 10-months of enrollment, I have been impressed with the attentiveness of the teachers . They really seem to know the kids, and can tell you what happened during the day. They are very responsible and will call you if there are any concerns, but this happened rarely. Each kid has their own cubby to put their stuff in, and also their own coat hook to hang their coat and bag. In all, I would easily pick Primrose East Lake again if I had to do it all over, and can offer my full recommendation to anyone else looking for a great daycare!
