Director

Hello! I am Amy Taylor, the director here at Primrose School of Cottonwood Creek. I moved here to Colorado with my husband in 2003 from Mississippi where I studied education at Mississippi State. I have been in Early Childhood education for 23 years. My Primrose Career began as a Toddler teacher working with ages 1-2. I was in a classroom for six years before I began working as an assistant director, and upon completing my Director certification I moved into the position of Director. I enjoy creating relationships with parents, as well as the children. I believe that we are more than just teachers, we are family. A place where our school brings love and education into the lives of young children. I am truly excited to begin this educational journey with you and your family.

I got my start in Early Childhood Education at the Primrose School of Parker in 2014. I worked in a few different schools in Salt Lake city from 2017 until 2023 before I moved back to Colorado. That’s over a decade of teaching kiddos! My favorite thing about teaching is that children are still learning about the world and everything in it. Which makes me so excited to show them the wonders and beauty of it all! They teach me to appreciate the small things. My favorite children’s book is “Miss Nelson is Missing” by Harry Allard and my favorite holiday is Christmas. In my personal time,  I like to read, crease my own stories through wiring, bake, tend to my indoor plants and embroider!

We are Raj Harika and Gagan Sethi, the proud owners of Primrose School of Cottonwood Creek in Colorado Springs.

Our shared passion for providing high-quality care and education to families in our community brought us to Primrose. As the proud parents of two daughters who are now in middle and elementary school, we understand the significance of finding exceptional child care that offers a safe and nurturing environment. Our journey with Primrose began when we discovered the outstanding level of care at a neighborhood Primrose school while searching for child care for our own daughter. This experience ignited our desire to become part of the Primrose community, and Raj made the decision to embark on a new career path, fully dedicated to owning a Primrose school in the Colorado Springs community.

Prior to joining Primrose, we held various positions in multinational corporations. Raj holds a master’s degree in public health nutrition from the University of North London, UK, and has worked for various multinational companies across Europe and the USA.
