Our Preschool Classroom

Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

I’m Ms. Taylor. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I got my start in Early Childhood Education at the Primrose School of Parker in 2014. I worked in a few different schools in Salt Lake city from 2017 until 2023 before I moved back to Colorado. That’s over a decade of teaching kiddos! My favorite thing about teaching is that children are still learning about the world and everything in it. Which makes me so excited to show them the wonders and beauty of it all! They teach me to appreciate the small things. My favorite children’s book is “Miss Nelson is Missing” by Harry Allard and my favorite holiday is Christmas. In my personal time,  I like to read, crease my own stories through wiring, bake, tend to my indoor plants and embroider!

At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though they are our own. Like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.

I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family

I grew up in Jamaica and have worked in childcare for three years. In my free time I enjoy watching movies and eating seafood. My favorite children’s book is “Pete the Cat” by Eric Litwin and James Dean and I can most relate to the Primrose Pal Percy the Rooster. I look forward to forming bonds with each child. Feel free to reach out to me in the mornings or through Procare.

I’m Ms. Nieves.  I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I was born in Yona, Guam and have been working with children for 5 years now. I do have my high school diploma and have been taking trainings pertaining to early childhood education. My favorite foods are absolutely anything and everything, as long as it does not contain cheese. On the weekends I enjoy playing softball. My favorite children’s book is “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. I look forward to seeing the tremendous progress each child accomplishes. Feel free to reach out to me anytime between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.

You see, at Primrose Schools we’re more than a team of professional teachers and child care education specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though he or she was our own. And like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.

I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
