Franchise Owners
Michele and Tim Alexander
Meet Michele and Tim Alexander – proud Franchise Owners of Primrose School at Colorado Station. They are thrilled to bring the Primrose experience of premier early education and care to families in their Denver community. They are also very proud to have been awarded the Regional Franchisee of the Year in 2019.
As a Colorado native and after living many years in Denver, Michele has long recognized the need for high-quality early education and care in the area. She decided early on that she wanted to help fill this need, and in 2002 she began working at a Primrose school as a toddler classroom teacher. After teaching for four years, Michele went on to serve as Assistant Director, Marketing Director and Director. She spent more than 10 years with the school in total, which solidified her desire to bring the Primrose experience to more children and families in her community.
Tim was introduced to Primrose through Michele and immediately saw the happiness and special learning experience it brings to children and their families. In 2011, the Alexanders decided to make their dream come true by opening their own Primrose school close to their home.
“I have been able to grow with Primrose and have seen how the Balanced Learning® curriculum helps children thrive and develop the foundation needed for future success,” said Michele. “From day one, I fell in love with the Primrose experience and knew that one day I wanted to help my community and its families receive the much-needed early education and care they deserve.”
Michele and Tim first met in 2000 through mutual friends and both earned their bachelor’s degrees at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Michele earned her degree in psychology and later returned to school to receive her Director’s Certification. Tim earned his degree in marketing and has 10+ years of major beverage company marketing experience. He is enjoying helping at the school with marketing, accounting, maintenance and various other duties, as assigned.
During their free time, Michele and Tim love to travel, hike, snowboard, and enjoy being surrounded by family and friends.
The Alexanders are excited to provide their Denver community with a safe, caring environment where children can grow Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®. Primrose School at Colorado Station offers the Primrose exclusive, research-based Balanced Learning®curriculum, which blends teacher-guided learning and child-initiated play with a focus on character development in Infant through Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.
Primrose School at Colorado Station opened on August 24, 2015 and is located at 4300 E. Warren Avenue.
