Franchise Owners
Janki & Manan Patel
We are the proud owners, Janki and Manan Patel, of Primrose School of Canton at Blue Hills.
We believe that children are like little sponges and high-quality early education and care can set them up for life. Learning will never stop, and the key is to provide proper guidance and nurturing to help them reach their full potential. Primrose’s belief, “who children become is as important as what they know,” is a perfect explanation of why a strong fundamental base of education is important at an early age.
We discovered Primrose when we began searching for early education and care options for our son, Shaan, and fell in love with its philosophy and exclusive Balanced Learning® approach. The research-informed curriculum with its integration of STEAM-based learning sets it apart.
Janki has a bachelor’s degree from University of Guelph in Canada with a major in biochemistry, a Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia and her master’s degree in health informatics from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Manan graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a major in biochemistry and a minor in mathematics and earned a medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Manan was always interested in multiple business ventures. To fuel that passion, he slowly transitioned away from the medical field and joined the family business, operating several retail stores and hotels. Understanding the need for high quality early education and care, Manan and Janki saw this as a perfect fit for their family. It allows them a chance to combine their experience in managing multiple businesses with their academic background and appreciation for education. Shaan will be the first student to enroll at Primrose School of Canton at Blue Hills.
