Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Rickman
Hello, I’m Ms. Rickman. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am a Toddler teacher here at Primrose. I have a high school diploma and loved school! I have some informal experience working with children. I love teaching and caring for children, especially younger ones, because of their curiosity. I love watching them grow, experience new things, and learn. I took piano and voice lessons and consider both hobbies. I love reading, drawing, and bedazzling things. I also love Science and History, and I learn as much as I can about both. I’m looking forward to learning more about teaching and helping out as much as I can!
Ms. Perry
Hello, I’m Ms. Perry. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am so excited for the opportunity to work at Primrose. I just graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I have served in childcare for about six years through kids’ church and babysitting. I love creating a fun environment for kids to learn and play. I enjoy being outdoors and being active. I am looking forward to making new friends and serving others.

Ms. Holliman
Hello, I’m Ms. Holliman. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have always wanted to teach young children. Life’s path didn’t give me the chance to pursue it early on. I got into retail because it was a fast track to management, and it let me support my son. Now, I want to do work that feels fulfilling and benefits more than just me. Little people are my favorite kind of people, and that has never changed. My customer service experience, public engagement, and genuine heart for the vulnerable make this career transition a dream come true. I’m excited to learn, grow, and be available to support the children and my team members.
