The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Daily wellness screenings and temperature checks for all staff and children
  • Limiting building access to staff, children and essential vendor services
  • External drop-off and pick-up of children
  • Face masks required for all adults and elementary school aged children
  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 72 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces and toys
  • Frequent hand washing, which is embedded in our curriculum and in daily staff protocols
  • Daily cleaning, sanitation and disinfection of the building by staff during school hours and by a professional cleaning service after hours
  • Routine antimicrobial treatment of the building and playground equipment by 3rd party company Disinfx
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep symptoms of illness top of mind
  • Continuous health & safety training for owners and staff, including first aid and CPR certification and COVID-19 specific training
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets with individual cribs provided for infants; for older children, individual cots and blanket are provided and laundered weekly
  • Lower teacher-student classroom ratios than required by the state
  • Limiting use of playground equipment to one classroom at a time and disinfecting equipment daily
  • Maintaining an up-to-date Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
