An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Astrid S.L.P
Primrose Team Member Since 2022
Mrs. Astrid is a dedicated educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail, joining the team in 2022 as a Support Teacher working across all classrooms. Her passion for early childhood education shines through, especially in the Infant and Toddler age groups, where she finds the most joy and connection.
Mrs. Astrid recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She is thrilled to bring her expertise into our program, implementing the tools and techniques she has learned to support early communication and developmental growth.

Ms. Shelby is a dedicated educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail, currently working in the Wonder and Venture Program classrooms. She joined our team in 2023 and is actively pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, reflecting her commitment to nurturing and educating young children.

Ms. Jessica, affectionately known as “Jess,” is a passionate educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail. She joined the team in 2023 with a strong desire to teach and nurture young children within an accredited early education program.
Ms. Jess is dedicated to implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning® Curriculum, creating enriching learning experiences that inspire growth and development. She values the importance of communication with families, regularly sharing pictures, videos, and updates of the exciting moments and milestones achieved in the classroom.

Ms. Jackie, affectionately known as “Princess Jackie,” is a vibrant and nurturing educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail. She joined the team in early 2024, bringing her passion for working with children to an educational setting.
Ms. Jackie has a unique background, with experience engaging with children of all ages in a retail environment and through her involvement with a Cosplay group that entertains children at hospitals and charitable events. Her creativity and caring nature shine through in the classroom, where she builds meaningful connections with her students through song, nurturing guidance, and playful learning experiences.
