An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Marilyn

Ms. Marilyn is a passionate educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail, joining the team in 2024 with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on early learners and their families. She loves working with children of all ages and brings her nurturing spirit to the classroom every day.
As a mother herself, Ms. Marilyn understands the importance of providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. She looks forward to building strong connections with her students and supporting their growth and development as they learn and explore.

Ms. Jackie

Ms. Jackie, affectionately known as “Princess Jackie,” is a vibrant and nurturing educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail. She joined the team in early 2024, bringing her passion for working with children to an educational setting.
Ms. Jackie has a unique background, with experience engaging with children of all ages in a retail environment and through her involvement with a Cosplay group that entertains children at hospitals and charitable events. Her creativity and caring nature shine through in the classroom, where she builds meaningful connections with her students through song, nurturing guidance, and playful learning experiences.

Ms. Marisol
Hi, my name is Marisol, and I am a passionate and caring Toddler Teacher who loves supporting young children during the important early years of development. My passion for early childhood education began while caring for younger family members, where I learned the importance of patience, compassion, and creating a safe and nurturing environment.
I enjoy creating fun, age-appropriate learning activities that encourage toddlers to explore, build independence, develop social skills, and express their creativity. One of my favorite parts of teaching is celebrating each child’s accomplishments and watching their confidence grow.
Building strong, trusting relationships with children and families is very important to me. I strive to create a loving, engaging toddler classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy shopping, going to the gym, and coloring. I am excited to continue helping our toddlers learn, grow, and thrive each day!
Mrs. Astrid S.L.P
Primrose Team Member Since 2022
Mrs. Astrid is a dedicated educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail, joining the team in 2022 as a Support Teacher working across all classrooms. Her passion for early childhood education shines through, especially in the Infant and Toddler age groups, where she finds the most joy and connection.
Mrs. Astrid recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She is thrilled to bring her expertise into our program, implementing the tools and techniques she has learned to support early communication and developmental growth.

Ms. Bolu
My name is Aboluwade Alaketu, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my MBA and am excited to continue growing both personally and professionally through my education and experiences in early childhood education.
I have a genuine passion for building meaningful relationships with children and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities, interests, and individual needs. I strive to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow.
I believe every interaction with a child is an opportunity to make a positive impact. I enjoy helping children build confidence, develop independence, and discover a love of learning while celebrating the special qualities that make each child unique.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and spending time with friends. I am excited to continue growing as an educator and to be a valued member of the Primrose family!
