Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Paula – Early Childhood Educator, Primrose School of Bent Trail
Primrose Team Member Since 2021
Ms. Paula joined the Primrose School of Bent Trail team in 2021 and brings valuable experience working with children of all ages across various classrooms. She is passionate about early childhood education and takes pride in enhancing the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum with creative ideas and meaningful experiences.
A bilingual educator, Ms. Paula loves incorporating Spanish into daily classroom activities, helping children expand their vocabulary and cultural awareness in fun and engaging ways. Her ability to form strong, personal connections allows her to better understand and support each child’s unique personality and learning style.
Ms. Paula is dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive, and enriching environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every day.

Ms. Alonso
Primrose Team Member Since 2025
Ms. Alonso is an enthusiastic educator at Primrose School of Bent Trail, joining the team in early 2025 to begin her professional journey in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children began with babysitting and caring for younger family members, which inspired her to pursue a career in early education.
When you step into Ms. Alonso’s classroom, you are greeted with the sounds of singing, laughter, and joyful giggles. Her nurturing spirit and playful approach create a warm and engaging environment where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn.
