Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Welcome to Primrose School of Bel Air
Like many Americans, we, the proud owners of Primrose, share the dream of becoming successful by working hard and giving back to the community. As our family grew, we started searching for childcare options within our community that provided a good balance of strong curriculum and a nurturing culture. We quickly realized the options were limited and decided to do something about it. Primrose had everything that we were looking for; great culture, perfect curriculum, strong history, and a well-balanced approach. Primrose's approach to early childcare and education contributes to an enriched learning environment. Each one of us is a parent, and our need to do right by our children is a driving force behind our decisions everyday.
We're excited to bring the first Primrose School to our Bel Air community, and are privileged by the opportunity to make a positive difference in your family's lives. We are committed to creating a family atmosphere at our school by providing a Balanced Learning approach of purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it is a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. Primrose's unique nurturing approach will allow your child to develop into a joyful and confident learner who is prepared for success both in school, and in life.
Primrose School of Bel Air is an independently owned business operated by a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to providing the highest quality of balanced learning for the children in our community.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our Primrose family!

Congratulations to our very first graduating class :) It was saddening as well as a proud moment for us to see our first batch of Pre-K kids graduate and leave Primrose School of Bel Air this past week. We wish nothing but success for them and are happy to have help lay the foundation to achieve the same. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents for showing trust in us with their little ones and being part of the Primrose School of Bel Air family.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Every Monday, at Primrose School of Bel Air, we select a child to be our Mail Carrier and deliver messages from home to kids! Parents are encouraged to write a quick note to children during the week and make kids feel special :)
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Thank you to all of our beautiful mothers, grandmothers, and aunts for taking time and attending our first ever Mother’s Day Tea ☕️💕

A compliment has a powerful effect. It can instill confidence in a child, or validate someone’s hard work. A compliment not only improves the receiver’s mood, but it also says something about the giver. At Primrose School of Bel Air, we celebrated The National Compliment Day by complementing our kids and our teachers on their unique talents and character trades.
Martin Luther King Jr. believed in the power of peace, love and hope, all traits our students put into practice through inspired activities to commemorate his timeless messages today!
Hang on to your hats and celebrate in style on National Hat Day at Primrose of Bel Air. We celebrated national hat day by encouraging children to don their favorite fedora, cap, cloche, derby, or sunhat to dig out their ceremonial best and tell the story behind it. It was a fun day at Primrose of Bel Air.
We at Primrose School of Bel Air celebrated the National Bagel Day by treating our wonderful parents to a gourmet breakfast. Just a small token of appreciation to our amazing families!
There’s no greater joy than making a positive difference in the life of a child. At Primrose, we’re honored to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the more than 50,000 children in our schools, and it’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.
90% of a child’s brain develops in the first five years.
Now more than ever, it is important that we nurture young children to be accepting of those who are different than them.
