Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Hello, I am Kailyn, and I am excited to join the Primrose team! I have worked directly with kids for about eight years. I have been a lead teacher, a nanny, and a teacher assistant. In these roles, I helped kids reach milestones, built strong relationships with them and their families, and taught fun, age-appropriate lessons. I look forward to forming lasting bonds with the kids at Primrose by demonstrating a balanced learning approach. Outside of work, I enjoy ice skating, walking my dog, and reading.

Hello! My name is Lacey, and I’m so excited to be part of your child’s learning journey. I was born and raised in Texas and moved to Colorado in 2019. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Journalism. I’ve been working with Primrose since 2022, and I truly find this profession both rewarding and fun. Watching children grow, learn new skills, and build confidence is the best part of what I do! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going to concerts, playing outdoor volleyball with friends, and spending time cuddling with my cat, Cleo. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together!

Hello everyone! My name is Tayler and I am a preschool teacher! I’ve been working with Primrose for almost 4 years and am so excited to continue that journey here at Applewood! I’m from Greeley and moved to Arvada about 4 years ago. I’m engaged-soon to be married in January of 2027! In my free time I love to read as well as play video games and spend quality time with my fiancé Jordan and our dog Max. I can’t wait to meet everyone and start this journey together!
