Kate has over 15 years of experience in the Early Childcare Industry working as a Preschool teacher for 10 years, volunteering in children programs at her church, youth sports programs for her own children and other various volunteer positions at the local schools.  She is drawn to nurturing and caring for children and believes in developing each child to their full potential. Kate has five kids of her own and has invested the last 20 years to being an intricate part of their education.  Outside of work, Kate loves any activity that involves spending time with her family especially outdoor activities including sporting events, hiking and sitting on the beach!

Kate, originally from Port Huron, Michigan, relocated to Arizona with her husband, Nathan, in 2019. Their family first joined Primrose as part of our Venture program. After welcoming their second child, Kate presented us with an incredible opportunity to join our team, and she officially became a member of the Primrose family in September 2022. It didn’t take long for us to recognize Kate’s exceptional leadership, dedication, and talent. She quickly earned a place on our Leadership Team as Director of Operations. In 2024, she was promoted to Regional Director of Operations, where she now oversees all three of our Primrose campuses. Kate’s passion for working with children began during high school and college while serving on missionary trips to orphanages in Mexicali, Mexico. Those experiences inspired a lifelong commitment to making a difference in the lives of young children and their families. She later graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and spent six years in the finance industry before returning to her true passion—Early Childhood Education. Outside of work, Kate enjoys hiking, camping, and longboarding with her family. When she finds a little extra time, she also loves photography and reading. She and Nathan are proud parents of three boys, all of whom are Primrose students. Kate has made an extraordinary impact by building meaningful relationships with every child and family she serves. Her warmth, leadership, and genuine care help create a welcoming environment where children thrive, and she is committed to making a lasting impression that extends far beyond each family’s time at Primrose.

Sheena was born and raised in Aluquerque New Mexico and moved to Arizona in 2002 when working for P.F. Chang’s as a corporate trainier.  She graduated from UNM in Albuquerque with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She has 3 boys and her youngest son graduated in 2026 Primrose Venture program.  She has a passion for Early Childhood Education and loves to watch each child have their own lightbulb moments as they explore and create new things every day. Sheena loves developing a personal bond with each child and works hard to make every child feel like they are the most important student at the school.  We are so lucky to have her!

Mayra has been with us since day one! She has 3 kids of her own and has been working with children for over 6 years.  She is the hardest worker with the biggest heart. She is kind, honest, ambitious and so good with our kiddos! She is an incredible role model for our teachers and a true joy to be around. She always has something uplifting and motivating to say and is an outstanding team player.

Ms. Brooke is one of our very first teachers that joined the team when we first opened. There is no energy like Brooke’s energy. She loves both the infant and toddler classrooms whole heartedly. She sees the value in implementing cirriculum- especially in the first year. She is one we can always count on to have a great classroom environment full of life, love and dance parties.
