Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Health & Safety
Their health & safety. Our top priority.
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies
Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Lewin

Ms. Davis
Hi, I am Ms. Davis, and I am proud to be the Lead Toddler Teacher here at Primrose at Wellen Park. I have been working in the early childhood education field for 3 years.
My favorite parent about the Balance Learning Curriculum is how it encourages strong parent-teacher collaboration to support each child’s growth, especially through activities like OG’s Reading Bag and Molly’s Math Bag.
What I love most about the school’s environment is that it is warm and welcoming for all students, staff and teachers.

Ms. Witcher
Hi, my name is Ms. Witcher, and I am proud to be one of the Young Toddler teachers here at Primrose School at Wellen Park. I began my career in early childhood education in 2023, and it has been a joy to support young learners during this important stage of development.
One of my favorite aspects of the Balanced Learning Curriculum is how it combines purposeful play with thoughtful teacher guidance to make learning both fun and meaningful for children. It encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth in a way that feels natural and engaging.
What I love most about our school is watching students grow and discover new things each day in a happy, safe, and supportive environment.

Ms. Harris
Hi, I’m Ms. Harris, and I’m one of the Toddler teachers here at Primrose School at Wellen Park. I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2000, and I still love every minute of it. Helping little ones learn and grow during these early years is something I’m really passionate about.
One of the things I really enjoy about the Balanced Learning® Curriculum is how it mixes play with learning in such a fun and natural way. It gives kids the chance to be curious and creative while still getting the guidance they need to build important skills.
What I love most about being here at Primrose is seeing how much our students grow each day. Watching them discover new things in a safe, happy, and caring environment is the best part of my job.
