Welcome to the Primrose School of Uniontown! We are the proud owners, Jacki and Brooks Kerrick.
As lifelong northeast Ohioans, we are truly excited and honored to bring the Primrose experience to the greater Green and Uniontown area. As parents, we believe our purpose is to raise good human beings who will do good in the world. That starts at the earliest stages of life. Creating the environments and opportunities that allow children to become the best versions of themselves quickly became a professional passion, too.
We first discovered Primrose while looking for childcare for our twins. We immediately felt the weight of finding safe, educational, fun and well-rounded care for our children. Primrose stood out amongst the rest, and the rest is history! Our twins, Mackenzie and Brooks, have been part of the Primrose family since they were early infants, and we are proud they will be the first two students enrolled at Primrose School of Uniontown. Watching them be emboldened, adored, nurtured through new milestones and seeing their social-emotional and intellectual growth has been one of the most fun and fulfilling parts of our parenting journey. Now, we hope to offer that same joy, security and peace of mind to your family.
Working together again has also been a dream of ours and we are excited to dive into this new journey. Prior to opening our Primrose school, Jacki received her bachelor’s in psychology and business from The Ohio State University and master’s in organizational development from Case Western. She has spent her career in healthcare, leading marketing and strategy. Her favorite job, however, was teaching at a foster home in Tuaran, Malaysia. Brooks earned his bachelor’s in accounting from John Carroll University. His tenured career in finance makes him all too excited to keep the books here at Primrose.
We aspire for Primrose School of Uniontown to first and foremost be a safe, fun and educational place for your children. We also want it to be a fun working environment for our great team who will spend their days with your children, and a place where you will feel confident dropping off your little ones and eager to hear what they have accomplished and explored when you come pick them up.
“Who children become is as important as what they know.” This belief drives us and is also at the core of our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
We welcome you to call or stop by for a visit. We are excited to meet you and your family!
