Meet Nisha Mohamed and her mom, Zeenat Mohamed—the proud new owners of the Primrose School of Stone Oak! They have lived in the Stone Oak area for over 20 years and have watched the neighborhood grow and blossom into what it is today. They are dedicated to providing the Stone Oak community with the best possible early childhood care—care that is safe, nurturing, and fun!
Nisha is thrilled to join the Primrose School family. She grew up in the Stone Oak area attending Tejeda Middle School and Reagan High School. She is also a graduate of Tufts University in Boston, with Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Child Development, as well as a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Food Policy. Nisha comes from a background in international development and understands the importance of early childhood care and nutrition. She is passionate about creating environments for children to thrive in their physical development, but also their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
As a woman-owned business, Primrose School of Stone Oak is dedicated to investing in women’s economic empowerment and helping our staff to grow and develop further in their careers.
Finally, Nisha and her family are proud to be able to offer the Primrose Schools exclusive, research-based Balanced Learning® curriculum, executed by their wonderful teachers for infants up to Kindergarten aged children. Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-6:00 pm.
How do you keep parents informed about their child's day?
Connecting school to home is one of the ways we help children thrive. We use the Procare app to share daily updates and photos so you stay connected to your child’s joy, learning and special moments
