Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Contact UsWelcome to the Primrose School at St. Charles Community College! My name is Lori Ruppert. I along with my husband Joe, and daughter Jackie represent the ownership team at this wonderful school. I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 40 years. I am so excited to continue providing Quality Early Childhood on the campus of St. Charles Community College as well as the communities of St. Peters, Cottleville and surrounding areas. I began my career as a Preschool Teacher after completing my degree in Psychology/Early Childhood. Nothing matters more than giving our families and faculty a wonderful school family to promote the development of children physically, socially, emotionally and academically. Prior to opening this school, I built the Winghaven Primrose as the first school in the State of Missouri. My daughter Jackie is the on-site owner of that location and I will be full time on-site at the Community College location. "We believe who children become is as important as what they know." Our mission is to Deliver the Best and Most Trusted Early Childhood each and every day. Our school was formerly operated by the Child Development Center of the Community College. It is an honor to continue their wonderful school and create new memories for the children and families. I have lived in the St. Peters area for more than 30 years. I have two grown daughters, and 4 incredible grandchildren, 2 of which are current students at our Winghaven location! We have made many physical changes to the campus both on the interior and exterior! I look forward to meeting you soon!
We are conveniently located on Mid Rivers Mall Drive, near the St. Charles Community College campus and minutes away from Warren Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Cottleville, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.
Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, After School, Summer Adventure Club
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
When determining the best child care option for your family, tuition cost inevitably plays an important role. But it’s only one of the factors parents must consider, which is why researching and selecting child care options can feel like such an overwhelming decision.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Not sure where to start in your child care search? This time in life is full of so many decisions – from which diaper brand is best to which pediatrician to call – and all of them can be nerve wracking. For answers to questions like, "when should I start looking for child care?" we have a checklist to help with your daycare or preschool search.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Lately, everyone seems to be talking about STEAM. It’s a hot topic in the world of education and in the business community, but what does STEAM have to do with your preschooler?
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
There’s no greater joy than making a positive difference in the life of a child. At Primrose, we’re honored to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the more than 50,000 children in our schools, and it’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
