My name is Ms. Williams, and I am the Director at Primrose Southwest Arlington. I have worked with Primrose for over 13 years. I started my Primrose career as an Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, and eventually moved to the Leadership Team. I believe I am a great director because I am patient, loving, caring, understanding, and respectful. If I could teach my staff and students one thing, it would to treat others how you want to be treated. I love being a teacher and seeing my students reach a milestone for the first time.

My name is Ms. Nanayakkara, and I am the Assistant Director at Primrose Southwest Arlington. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with my bachelor’s degree in finance. I came to Primrose with five years of experience, previously working as a math and reading tutor in my hometown, Sri-Lanka. I started my journey at Primrose over five years ago. I began as an Assistant in the Pre-K II classroom and then moved to the Lead Preschool I teacher. I believe I am a great assistant director because I always act as a role model. I am adaptable in every situation. I use clear communication and active listening. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that love is the most powerful thing you can give and receive. Therefor, it is always better to forgive and let go. Some fun facts about me are I am bilingual – I can speak English and Sinhalease.

My name is Ms. Charles, and I am the Education Coach.  I have over ten years of experience in childcare, including eight years at Primrose. Before Primrose, I was a director of a smaller day care. I believe I am a great teacher because my time management skills, attention to details, and most importantly a love of learning and teaching. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to never judge and be compassionate. I love being a teacher because I can see my students are excited about learning, which helps them retain their knowledge. You see, at Primrose Schools we’re more than a team of professional teachers and childcare education specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though he or she was our own. And like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.

My name is Ms. Sappy, and I am the Office Assistant. I graduated with from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Human Development and family studies. At Primrose, this degree helps me to easily recognize developmental milestones. I have six years of education experience and have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I believe I am a great teacher because I am a good listener, patient, and I always make things fun. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to follow their dreams and never give up! I love being a teacher because of all my students’ silly personalities and seeing them get excited about learning.

I’m  Ms. Sweeton, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Infant 1 classroom. I currently have a degree in web development and will be returning to school in the fall to study  Early Childhood Education. I have over 10+ years in childcare. I believe I am a great teacher because of my patience, gentleness, and how I can bring peace. If I could teach my students one thing it it would be, that they are fully known and fully loved. I love being a teacher because watching and being a part of a child reaching new goals and learning new things brings me joy and fulfillment.

I’m Ms. Mendoza, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 classroom. I believe I am a great teacher because I am patient, a multitasker, and passionate. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to be kind to everyone. I love being a teacher and seeing each child explore something new everyday and watching them reach their milestones.

I’m Ms. Hall, and  I am a teacher in the Infant 1 classroom. I received my bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from The University of North Texas. I have over 6 years of childcare experience. I believe I am a good teacher because I love to learn and inspire students to embrace their creativity and passion for knowledge. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to always be curious and have confidence to be yourself. I love the spark that ignites in children’s eyes when they learn a new skill or achieve a new goal.

I’m Ms. Shine, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Infant 2 classroom. I believe I am good teacher because I am firm, but fair. I treat all my babies the same, no matter what. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to be confident in yourself. When you know who you are, what other people think or say about you doesn’t matter. I love to teach my babies new skills and watch them slowly implement them in their daily life.

I’m  Ms. Smith, and I am a teacher in the Infant 2 classroom. I am currently pursing my Bachelor’s of Science in nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. I plan on coming a NICU nurse. I have over three years in childcare experience. My first experience in childcare, I was a registered behavioral therapist. I believe I am a good teacher because I am patient, understanding, and a good listener. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that they are smart and loved and always be yourself. I love being a teacher and seeing the growth in each child.

My name is Ms. Rod, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Classroom. I come to primrose with nine years of childcare experience. I also have a degree in pharmacy tech and my real estate license. I believe I am a great teacher because of my patience and creativity. I also have the ability to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be to be kind and patient. I love being a teacher and being able to witness students’ curiosity, growth, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives!

I’m Ms. Nieves, and I am a teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. I attended both Tarrant County College and The University of Texas at Arlington. I believe I am a great teacher because I am patient and caring. If  I could teach my students one thing, it would be to express themselves and their emotions. I love to teach because I like to see children grow and learn.

My name is Ms. Torres, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddlers classroom. I have over 16 years of childcare experience, previously working at Primrose in Frisco. I believe I am a great teacher because I am creative, artistic, kind, sweet natured, and full of smiles and laughs. If I could teach my students one thing, it would be that laughter is the greatest medicine. I love being a teacher and getting to care for and have fun with each student.

I believe I am a great teacher because of my excitement for learning and trying new things – even if they are scary. I’ve always said that teaching is about watching your students grow beyond what your eyes can see. I love being a teacher and seeing how my students have grown and changed.

My name is Ms. Nino, and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I am currently studying psychology at Dallas College, in pursuit of becoming a counselor.
