Primrose School of South Elgin

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • We require all children and staff with signs of illness or fever to be excluded and stay home until symptom free for at least 24 hours.
  • Face masks are optional for staff and children over the age of 2.
  • We complete frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces and toys. Opening and closing hours changed allowing additional time for this process to take place.
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols.
  • Daily laundering of sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots, sheets and blankets are provided for each child. Blankets are washed weekly.
  • Family style dining is on hold, our teachers serve each child individually.
  • Our campus is professionally cleaned and disinfected nightly by an outside service, ensuring our classrooms are ready for the next day.
  • Our staff is fully vaccinated for COVID as this is a requirement at our school for all teachers and support staff

Our Commitment
