I welcome you to Primrose School of Silver Spring at Layhill. My husband, Mrugesh and I are proud parents of two amazing children. We deeply believe in the importance of early childhood education and are thrilled to be bringing the Primrose experience to families in the Silver Spring area.
My journey with Primrose began after I completed my bachelor’s degree in business. With a strong desire to own a business of my own, I knew I wanted to find an opportunity to combine my knowledge and expertise for business with my love and passion for giving to my community. After my husband and I had our children, we were surprised by the lack of premier options for early childhood education in the area. We know from research that the first few years of a child’s life are important and truly shape a child’s health, growth, learning, character and ultimately their happiness – so finding that premiere option that combines high quality education and care was critical to us. Realizing that other families must be feeling similarly, I began to do research and found Primrose Schools and immediately knew this was the perfect fit.
Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
Someone once told me, “it takes a Village to raise a child” and with all the unconditional support from our family in town, this statement holds a special place in our hearts! I am excited to bring Primrose to the Silver Spring/Layhill community and offer your family the best in early childhood education!
