Maria Emmanuelli
Hello, and welcome! I’m Maria Emmanuelli, and I’m so glad you’re here. When our family first discovered Primrose Schools, we were immediately inspired by its balanced approach to early education where purposeful play, strong academics, and nurturing guidance come together to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture compassion. Both of my children are proud Primrose graduates, and I’ve seen firsthand how this foundation has helped them thrive not just in school, but in life.
Since our school first opened its doors in April 2005, I’ve had the joy and privilege of serving as Director. I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Colorado Denver, and with more than 20 years of experience in education and school operations, I’m deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of the children, families, teachers, and community we serve. My goal is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors experiences the very best our Primrose School has to offer.
As an owner, I believe it’s important to be involved in every part of our school, from the curriculum and classroom experiences to the meals we serve. Creating a true “home away from home” for our families and teachers is at the heart of what we do. The health, safety, and growth of our students and teachers are always our top priorities, and we take great pride in building genuine, caring relationships with each family and teacher who becomes part of our community.
At Primrose, we don’t just prepare children for school, we prepare them for life. This school has truly become my second home, and it’s my hope that it becomes yours as well. I look forward to meeting you and sharing all that makes our Primrose such a special place.

Natalie Jensen
Hi, my name is Natalie Jensen. I am from the Bay Area, but have been in Colorado since 1994.
I attended the University of Nevada-Reno, on a soccer scholarship. I have my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Early Childhood. My minor is in Psychology. Prior to working for Primrose, I worked for an early intervention program for the state of Nevada aiding families with children with developmental disabilities.
I have been with our Primrose school since 2006 where I began my journey as an Early Childhood teacher in the Preschool class and became Director in 2008. I also was a Primrose parent, as my daughters Brailynn and Camdyn attended the school.
I feel so fortunate to be a part of each child’s development, and even more fortunate for the relationships that are built with the children and their families. I look forward to getting to know your family!

Franchise Owners
José and Nydia Emmanuelli
Welcome to Primrose School at Shadow Canyon!
We, José and Nydia Emmanuelli, along with our children, Maria Emmanuelli and JC Emmanuelli are the proud owners of this school since it opened in April 2005.
We first discovered Primrose during our extensive search for high-quality childcare and we immediately fell in love with Primrose for many of the same reasons our families do today.
We believe who children become is as important as what they know. That’s why we are committed to the Primrose Schools’ Balanced Learning® approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing teacher guidance. Our goal is to support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, cultivating positive self-esteem and a lifelong love of learning.
We remain dedicated to serving the families who choose Primrose School at Shadow Canyon for their children’s early education and care, and we look forward to the journey ahead.
