The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

GENERAL

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 72 hours
  • Requiring staff to wear a mask while at work
  • PPE gear worn by management and other staff members at drop off and pick up times
  • Social Distancing pick up procedures
  • Hourly hand washing by children and staff
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep symptoms of illness top of mind
  • Training teachers on social responsibility when not at work
  • Temperature checks for children and staff at the front door during drop off
  • Touch-less check-in using QR scanner for parents
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Suspended family-style dining
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

CLEANING

  • Hourly disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces in all classrooms
  • Limiting use of playground equipment to one classroom at a time and disinfecting playground equipment before and after each use
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • With our partnership with Dis.In.Fx we have them come out every weekend to sanitize with a hospital grade disinfectant and antimicrobial coating all our common areas and classrooms
  • Installation of Reme HVAC Halo air filters to help keep the air in our school pure and clean
  • Daily Cleaning Service with a heightened focus on sanitation of hard surfaces in classrooms as well as adult & child restrooms using CDC approved sanitation solutions
  • Leadership Team has also increased the frequency of hard surface sanitation of all public areas (i.e. Entry/Classroom Door handles, Restrooms, etc.) throughout the day
